Vegan sweets--albeit mediocre at best. - Edit
We were in search of some dinner on a fierce rainy night, and our original choice closed early--that left only Los Waffles. To begin, the food was mostly adequate--we weren't offended--but the prices are high, and they really skimp on toppings. The dessert waffles were satisfying if you have a simple, sweet tooth; we ordered the vegan Oreo and frutas de bosque (mixed berries) mini-waffles. The "Oreo" arrived with exactly 1 cookie, and we would discover the Nutella that came on it wasn't vegan--regardless, it scratched an itch. The "frutas" was cleaner and less sweet--we enjoyed it. The savory dishes we ordered were just mundane, with bland sauces and sparse toppings (see pic: four shards of arugula, six olive slices, four triangles of queso). We left hungry (for more food, creativity and flavor) and feeling a bit ripped off. The service, on the other hand, was friendly, easygoing and patient--we were the only table.
