An absolute MUST! - Edit
My partner and I went on a Tuesday because I had heard they did vegan Tuesdays and there were about 6 options! (Note: in Sep 2025, they don’t seem to have vegan Tuesdays anymore). I got to talking with the baker and I mentioned that I had read in the reviews that people come from LA just for the vegan conchas. He didn’t have any that day and there wasn’t going to be another vegan Tuesday this year (while we are still in town). He was so disappointed that we wouldn’t get to try them that he said he would see if he had time the next morning to make them. He said to check his instagram around 9a because he would post them there if he ended up having time to make them. The next morning, he posted on Facebook such a nice message about us and let us know he made them and they would be ready around noon!
Read moreWe went back in the afternoon and got one of each of the 4 flavors he made: chocolate, vanilla, lemon, and strawberry. They are insanely delicious! I has never had one before. They are super soft bread with baked on frosting, and not too sweet. This place will become a weekly event on our next trip!
Oh also, I tried the creme croissant type pastry and a rolled flat pastry and both were great. The cream filling was nice and thick!
Though there are no special vegan Tuesdays anymore, almost every time I go, there are multiple vegan options. Just ask.

Pan Dulce - Edit
Finally made it to this bakery, no vegan labels so I asked the ladies at the counter and they went to the back and returned with a very nice gentleman, who I think may be the owner, he was making pastry at the time. He pointed out what was vegan: giant palmiers, two triangle shaped pastries one had an apple filling (manzana) and one a vanilla pudding filling (cream). He told me he would have more the following Tuesday so I went back and he had added two square pastries, one with raspberry sauce and one with pineapple sauce. There was also a new cinnamon swirl pastry and a large pastry bar. They were all delicious, light and flaky with a little sweet glaze, very tasty!

Amazing fresh baked goods - Edit
Went there twice, and both times got yummy treats: first on the “vegan Tuesday”, but they had ‘just’ the standard selection of puff pastries (cream filled, apple sauce filled, fried rings, jam baskets). Friendly owner explained that they didn’t have the time to make the special vegan treats that day, and also told story of how he got inspired to perfect vegan baked goods (perfect they are). He then offered to make a batch of conchas the next day. So we came back, and they had four flavours (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, lemon) of frosted soft fluffy crunchy crusted treats.
Read moreThey announce when they have vegan special items on social media: so worth checking there, and if they make it, go! Note that the vegan items are not labelled so need to ask. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Items are cheap (~2-3 Euro) and filling
Pros: Unique in-house backed goods, Friendly staff , Good value

Pan Dulce Vegano - Edit
While on vacation, our first full day happened to fall on a Tuesday, which allowed me to grab one of my favorite treats—a concha. We stopped by later in the evening, around 6:30, and there was still a decent selection of labeled goodies. All three of the breads we got were a-ma-zing, and some of the best vegan pan dulce I have ever had. My boyfriend was also impressed. It was well worth the visit and a perfect dessert after dinner at Rascal’s (all vegan) a few blocks down the street.

Vegan pan dulce was delicious - Edit
I’ve been meaning to stop by on their “vegan tuesdays” and finally did and it was so worth it! I haven’t had a concha in forever and it tasted just as I remember. They have a large selection of vegan items and all the ones i’ve tried were delicious.

Delicious pan Dulce! - Edit
Love the vegan options they have here every Tuesday ! Make sure you ask the cashier which pan Dulce is vegan as they won’t always have it labeled.
