Serves meat, vegan options available. Cozy Mexican food restaurant specializing in a large variety tacos. The cactus salad, nachos and guacamole, and spicy mushroom tacos (alambre vegetariano) are vegetarian and can be made vegan by omitting cheese. In-house made tequilla. NOTE Jan 2013 reported to happycow that the stock used to make the sauces are non-veg. JUN 2013 REPORTED SHUT DOWN/CLOSED. CONFIRMED.

Not really vegan-friendly at all - Edit
I love Los Pilones! It's a great bar and a great place to go to for authentic Mexican cuisine (which is so hard to find in Amsterdam!). However, I would never really recommend it to a vegan. Other than their guacamole or their tacos de alambre, or chilaquiles/enchiladas (basically with nothing in them/on top of them) there are no other options. Though I love the place, it is extremely expensive as well! :(

Not much choice for vegans - Edit
The only vegan meal I could find was the veg tacos without cheese. And it wasn't cheap.
The decor etc. is nice and the service is friendly. I found the food fine but it wouldn't have tasted of much without the chilli sauce from the table. Bit so-so...I'd recommend going if you're in a big group and there's meat eaters with you who want their meat! It's not got a lot of choice.
