Separate vegan menu - Edit
This is an attractive restaurant with friendly service in the middle of the historic district, right by the old lighthouse. I tried a vegan civitos (an Uruguayan burger) which was pretty good, and a vegan dessert that looked a lot better than it tasted.

Had 6 or 7 vegan options, I went for the sorrentinos which was a good amount of food but not very tasty, just kinda bland. It's also pretty expensive, although didn't go for food elsewhere in Colonia so can't compare. I also found the service kind of abrupt/short

When you arrive you can ask for the vegan menu which has a few choices like burgers, empanadas, and sorrentinos. I had the sorrentinos (like big, soft raviolis) in a lentil sauce. Restaurant is located in the big square, lots of indoor and outdoor seating.
