Los Andenes Vegan is another star in Madrid´s vegan food scene. They serve vegan versions of traditional Peruvian dishes, something you won´t encounter that easily elsewhere. The food is very tasty, full of rich flavours and an interesting change to most vegan restaurants in Madrid that offer mainly "fast-food".

Es el único restaurante vegano peruano que logré encontrar en Madrid. La comida estuvo muy buena, es un lugar acogedor. Lo que no me gustó mucho fue el pisco sour, estéticamente no se parecía mucho. Sin embargo, volveré a repetir por la comida.

Had the Ají de Gallina and liked it. Never had Perusian food before, so cant compare it to anything. It is a nice small restaurant. The Covid restrictions they hold very strictly, which in a way is good, but on the other hand did not allow us to stay much time.

reencuentro con Perú - Edit
Después de mucho tiempo sin comer comida peruana, por fin he podido reencontrarme con el ají de “gallina”. Estaba increíble. Mi buen y sabio acompañante ha pedido de bebida una jarra de chicha morada para compartir. Si no la conocéis y os gustan las bebidas dulzonas, sin duda probadla.

Las cantidades son generosas y me he traído medio arroz a casa.
El lugar el chiquito y si pretendéis ir en tiempos de Covid, hay que hacer reserva, actualmente tienen 3 mesas de 4 operativas, cumpliendo todas las medidas de seguridad. Nosotros hemos ido a las 13:30 un día entre semana y estaba tranquilo, aunque imagino que por las noches estará más ajetreado.
En definitiva, id a dadles mimo si podéis, que lastimosamente han tenido que cerrar el otro restaurante que pusieron en marcha en marzo. No os arrepentiréis!!

La comida muy sabrosa. Probamos las papas a la huancaína, que estaban deliciosas. El tamal, la causa encevichada y un mix de no-pescado que estaban muy buenos. Éramos dos personas y acabamos llenas. Probaremos los postres a la próxima!

Comida peruana vegana! Primera vez que comemos estos sabores veganos y no se imaginan lo bueno que estaba. Si están por Madrid, recomendamos darse una vuelta pedir esta causa limeña, ají de gallina (de champiñones), papas a la huancaina y rematar con suspiro limeño.

We ordered the daily menu (two dishes, drink and dessert), one beyond meat steak and a chocolate dessert. The food was delicious, especially the chocolate dessert (4euros) and the beyond meat steak (10 euros but worthy). The place is cozy and the personal is really nice, will definitely come back. Perfect for a family dinner!

This is definitely my favourite vegan restaurant that I went to in Madrid. Everything we ordered was delicious, nicely presented, good portion sizes, and really well priced! The Causa rellena was amazing- the filling was vegan tuna, and it tasted spot on. The service was fast and friendly too. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're in Madrid!

I walked a lot to find this place in the neighborhood of Chanverí. It was worth it. I was there for la comida, had ensalada rusa, arroz chaufa y sorbete de limón. Everything made carefully, you can tell, and delicious and a kind woman was my server.

the service was exceptional! the look inside is informative of veganism and seems very authentic and homely. i had the ceviche with inca cola and dulce con leche at the end. it was sooooo delicious! i want to go back, but i live in the US. i need something just like this there. i would recommend without a doubt. don’t miss this!
