A great dinner - Edit
We had the degustation menu which was really good. The primo and secundo were particularly nice (the seitan was amazingly soft, the texture was really surprising) but we were quite disappointed by the appetizers and the desserts that were ok but not particularly tasty. I tried their kombucha which was particularly well flavored.

Some excellent, some disappointing, but overall good! - Edit
The atmosphere was nice - minus the shelf full of books with the owners face in cartoon on them. In generally, it takes a way from the aesthetic of a restaurant when one feels like the place revolves around the owner or head chef, rather than the food of the restaurant itself. One had the feeling that this was somewhat the case here: the owner was greeting and seating guests and his presence was very much felt in the dining room. Otherwise, the staff were very friendly and helpful!
Read moreSome dishes were excellent, while others were disappointing. We ordered the full tasting menus plus wine at 67 euros each. The starters were mediocre, and a bit flavorless. Both pasta dishes were excellent. For the secondi, the raw vegan patties were disappointing, but the seitan was astoundingly tender and flavourful. I never knew seitan could be so soft and juicy. The desert was on par with the starters - fine, but not amazing, especially at this price point.
On returning, the tasting menu would be skipped and we would go straight for the pasta and seitan.

Ambiente piacevole, I piatti sono sorprendenti: accostamenti inaspettati, consistenze curiose, molto interessante per chi ama sperimentare. Qualche piatto mediocre (tempeh e torta al cioccolato, i gnocchi erano... gnocchi, niente di speciale) che ho riferito subito lontani dalla mia approvazione. Peccato che nel menù degustazione non sia previsto il contorno.

Read moreI'm updating my review after we've eaten here a couple of times.
The menu is refined with unusual and very good dishes, with well-balanced flavors. The staff is friendly and the owner is nice and chatty. Central location just behind the Gran Madre Church. The place is quite small but in our opinion slightly cold (they should try to heat it better in the colder months, especially the area furthest from the kitchen). The portions of bread provided as an accompaniment could also be more generous. Excellent value for money and it confirms itself as one of the best veg restaurants currently in Turin, even if with some small defects.

We enjoyed a four course tasting menu. The portions were ample and everything was delicious. The seitan course had the look, texture and taste of a dish from a steakhouse. And the price was a real bargain.

Wonderful experience - Edit
Having only 1 night in Turin, my daughter and I decided to check out this restaurant. We opted for the fixed menu and were presented with 4 courses (appy, first, second and desert). The ingredients of the dishes sounded unusually paired on the menu but when eating, the pairings were perfect. The food was a piece of art - not only in its presentation but also in its taste. Chef Eduardo personally brought the food to the table and explained what everything was. Really wonderful experience and will go back when back in Turin.

Nice flavors overall. Some of the menu is similar to what you get at their bistro during the day but more expensive (like the pan pizza). Serving Beyond burgers can hardly be considered 'finer' dining, unless you mean the price they charge for the burger (€15), but the starters on their menu did look fancier than the mains.

Read moreThere are 4 options for each meal (aperitivo, primo, secondo and dessert). In all categories you can find gluten free and raw options, which is a great option for many.
I had the seitan dish (La Profumata) and my partner had the baked eggplants (La Moussaka). I was a little nervous when I saw a giant slab of seitan on my plate, but it was SO GOOD, very well seasoned and with a delightful texture.
We had wine recommended by chef Eduardo was wonderful, and we ended with espresso and dessert which once again was absolutely delicious.
Wish I lived here so I could come every week!

Siamo venuti in questo locale in occasione del nostro primo veganuary, ero molto curiosa delle proposte e sono soddisfatta della scelta. I piatti sono originali, belli e gustosi. Ho amato il cappuccino di cannellini con il croissant di broccoli, presentazione super e davvero buono. Lo sformatino di carciofi era di una qualità superiore a quelli mangiati fino ad ora (da onnivora), che sono sempre risultati un po' monotoni come gusto.

Eravamo sazi e soddisfatti, ma ci tenevamo ad assaggiare almeno un dolce. Abbiamo optato per la torta crudista ai cachi. Finale perfetto, non troppo dolce, saporita e fresca.
Lo staff e il proprietario sono fantastici, accoglienti, gentili e simpatici.
Ci siamo trovati molto bene, abbiamo accompagnato la cena con 2 calici di vino e dell'acqua, spendendo alla fine 76 euro in 2.
Unica piccola pecca, per mio gusto personale, è che quando si è riempito è diventato particolarmente rumoroso.
