Phenomenal - Edit
We had phish burgers, comes with vegan tatare sauce, vegan cheese, pickles and a bit of salad. Really tasty, friendly, good vibe on the harbour front. Maybe a little pricey ($10) for a burger but location considered I think it's about fair. There's a craft beer place next door and the seating is shared, if you fancy that.
Pros: Vegan burgers, fries etc, Vegan cookies and vego bar
Cons: No indoor seating when it rains

Awesome feed - Edit
Great place for a quick and easy meal. Been there twice for the American fries and vegan spicy burger, both delicious. Nice to have a burger and chips option for vegans, though it is crazy tempting being just around the corner from my work!
Pros: quick, central
Cons: processed

Great fast food joint - Edit
Great place for vegetarian/vegan fast food, burgers, hot dogs, nuggets and fries (including sweet potato).
Everything is either vegan or can be made vegan, all the sauces are vegan.
I had the Parma burger, a chicken patty with cheese and bacon, very tasty.
They have very recently opened up a new branch in Auckland in St Kevins Arcade on Karangahape Road.
Pros: Great vegan fast food, Lots of choice available
Cons: Small seating areas so better suited for takeaway

Great fast food for vegans! - Edit
Today our family of three lunched here. We had hotdogs and fries and absolutely loved it. Great tasting big hotdogs and the Canadian vegan "gravy and cheese" sauce made the fries really interesting! We will definitely come again on a warm and sunny day as it only has outside seating.

Needs no review really, it's as good as the hype - Edit
Good choices of vegan food. Love that it's like a classy fast food place, with a really rustic atmosphere. A bit pricey, but worth it in my opinion.

Amazing Food! - Edit
Lord of the Fries is the best thing to happen to me yet. My favourite item on the menu is the Tijuana dog. Their shakes are amazing and their food is very high quality. I always say when it comes to vegan food than you can pick 2 of 3: taste, texture and looks. They chose all 3! Very inexpensive to eat- especially if you get a meal. The fries were a little disappointing though, only because they squeeze lots of sauce on top of the fries. The top fries can get soggy quite fast and the bottom fries are left with no sauce. All in all great place. I'm so glad with how accomodating they are. Super quick service too, based on how many people there are to serve.
Pros: Taste & texture, They don't sacrifice creativity for cruelty-free, Inexpensive
Cons: All the sauce on top of the fries

More vegan options = Good - Edit
Great to have this place in Auckland. Brings more awareness and provides more options.
LOTF has only been open a week and the staff are still learning, Queues can be slow even though there are a lot of people behind the counter.
Seems as though everything can be made vegan; we had no problems. All sauces are vegan.
Burgers were a little empty, but very tasty. We had the phish burger and the spicy burger. We also had the Chicago hotdog which was nice but a little overwhelmed by the bun. The fries, surprisingly, were the let-down. Kind of soggy and ordinary, and having paid $1.50 or whatever for the aioli sauce, we thought we'd get a little more than what we did.
LOTF is opened right next to a 2-3 year long major building site in downtown Auckland, so I hope they are getting cheap rent. Handy to have a bar right next to it so we got a beer and a wine with our dinner. We also snacked on the vege (vegan) dumplings at the next door dumpling place and they were great!
We will definitely go back, but will wait a few weeks to let things settle down, but even if they don't, it will still be on our list, just because it's so great to have that option.
Oh and I really like that the packaging is all paper and wood - no plastic, yay!

Pros: Tasty, Lots of vegan options, Cool location (apart from the building site)
Cons: A little pricey, A little slow (probably teething), Could pump up the ingredients

Central location - Edit
We went in the first week they opened, we arrived at around 7:30pm and there was a long queue, the staff were very busy and obviously stressed, but still friendly. They are operating out of a container at the moment, next to a bar, so you can get your beer there too.
Everything on the menu could be made vegan and all their sauces are vegan. The itself food was pretty average. My burger did not look like the photo (do they ever!?), I needed to open it up to make sure there was more than just a burger patty. My son got a hot dog, which he really enjoyed, it was very big, they had to use two soysauges to make it so big.
Pros: Good vegan "fast" food
Cons: Located outside, so wasn't that warm
