Amazing food!

Got a main burger and sweet potato chips. Prices reasonable. There is a good range of veg burgers, breakfast burgers/buns and hot dogs - this place is pure vegetarian/vegan. The portions were great (particularly the chips). Amazing fast food!

Great new location for LOTF

Okay, maybe not brand-new anymore, but compared the the previous Queen Street location it is great to have more and covered and heated seating. Otherwise still the reliable vegan fast food place it always was.

Pros: All vegan menu, Covered, heated seating, Fast food

Get Your Vegan Fast Food Fix!

If you miss greasy fast food deliciousness, this is the place to be. Their Beyond Meat burger is insanely good and worth the extra, as is the 'chicken' strips made with Gardein. We wanted that with poutine sauce, and you can hack that 'chicken' and fries box by requesting the 'French Canadian' sauce all over top! The onion rings are also soooo good, I missed onion rings. Highly recommend, and there is plenty of seating in super cute Snickel Lane.

Pros: All vegan!, Awesome food.

Looks and feels like a fast food burger joint

First off, pleased it was there - always pleased with any vegan restaurant but... it is a burger fast food place with no apologies for that. If you want greasy, fast burger style food that apes the likes of (you know who) then this is the place to go. It doesn't even try to alter the names of the fake meat it serves and I guess I had a problem with chicken, beef etc being listed on the menu. (Surprised they were allowed to call them this as they are not, I guess the advertising people hadn't caught up with them.)

I had a 'chicken' burger in a bun. My husband and daughter had 'beef' burgers and chips. For this style of food it was well cooked and presented but not that enjoyable for me to eat, also found the regular to be rather small. Even our daughter said she didn't enjoy it that much. I didn't eat in burger places before going vegan so the downsides was the style of food for me. That said my vegan friend who lives there said she's addicted to Lord of the Fries (poor thing) and certainly there was a heap of young people stuffing themselves on a range of fried products. There is seating but it's a bit limited. There are a few tables in St Kevin's arcade.

Pros: Vegan restaurant , Good range of products, Fast turnaround

Cons: 'Greasy' burger style food, 'Meat' products on menu labled as meat

Good fries

I only tried the fries yet but they were really good. And if you ask gently they even put more sauce on top ! I will definitely try more out soon as they have burger and hotdogs and much more.

Pros: All vegan , Heaps of options

LOTF is back Downtown

I went to their Grand Opening of the Snickle Lane store on Thu 7 June, and got myself some free shoestring fries with delicious vegan aioli. There were three different types of Moustache's vegan cookies. Will be back!

Pros: Everything is vegan

Cons: Takeaways only
