Highly recommended! - Edit
I had the best pizza dough of my life (made with sprouted wheat). The other courses were also delicious and of exceptional quality and value for money. The gelati was also very good.

I went there because it is one of the only vegan restaurants near Macerata. The food was nice, although I expected a different kind of pizza. In addition, the waitress didn‘t speak English, but she was so friendly and tried to overcome the language barrier by gesturing.

We had the taster menu which was a special for the Sferisterio Opera Season, €30 for starter, first course, second course, dessert, one drink and water! The portion are smaller than standard to be able to eat everything but it’s a great chance to try several dishes at once.
The food was incredible, every dish was absolutely amazing!! There’s so much variety too! The restaurant itself is also more beautiful than I realised from the pictures, and the staff was very kind and helpful
Honestly if you’re anywhere in the area I’d highly highly recommend coming here
We come to the area every year to visit family and I really wish we tried this place sooner, it’s really rare to have vegan food this good outside of cities in Italy!

Nel centro di Macerata, un ristorante di classe con una carta bio-vegana fantastica! Siamo stati accolti benissimo. Malgrado fossimo in ritardo sull'orario di fine-servizio ci hanno servito come fossimo i primi clienti a pranzo con tutto il tempo a disposizione, anche con piacevoli chiacchiere. C'è l'imbarazzo della scelta e quello che abbiamo gustato era ottimo e presentato con ricercatezza. Vorresti sempre avete un locale così vicino a casa! Complimenti speciali alla cuoca, Lady Bio, tanti anni di esperienza dal nord al sud della penisola fanno la differenza! A prestissimo!!

Despite the fact that we were a little late, they served us as if we were the first lunch customers with plenty of time to spare, even with pleasant chatter. We were spoilt for choice and what we tasted was excellent and beautifully presented. You always wish you had such a place close to home! Special congratulations to the cook, Lady Bio, so many years of experience from the north to the south of the peninsula make all the difference! See you soon!

Purtroppo, devo rimangiarmi le belle parole scritte nella prima recensione. Abbiamo chiamato alle 21.22 per chiedere se potevamo mangiare 2 pizze, e ci hanno detto che era tutto pieno, poi siamo andati a vedere e con il locale quasi totalmente vuoto, non ci hanno servito, dopo 27 km non me lo sarei aspettato. Se volete mangiare qui, andateci entro le 21 altrimenti non verrete accolti. La signora a gestione è stata molto poco gentile.

Abbiamo preso 2 pizze, una vegan e una vegetariana. La migliore pizza della zona nel raggio di 50km sicuramente. Impasto eccelso e ingredienti freschissimi e squisiti, cordialità e simpatia dello staff sono un valore aggiunto!
Gentilissimi, ci hanno aspettato nonostante siamo arrivati tardino.
Ci torniamo sicuramente! Prossimo weekend.

Another pleasant surprise in Macerata - Edit
Lord Bio, right in the main square of Macerata, offers a number of (mostly vegan) options. A vegan buffet-style (different types of creatively cooked vegetables, tofu, tempeh, etc.) is offered at lunch for 25€/kg (drinks not included): just pick up your plate and pick the food of your choosing, then get your bill at the cashier. Expect to pay 8-10€ for a reasonably large portion of whatever you like. On one evening I also tried the vegan pizza option, four different pieces of pizza and a bottle of organic beer for 10€, definitely a bargain. Don't be scared away by the pompous appearance of the website, praising the local food with a PhD and so on. For someone who had prepared for the worst, a most pleasant surprise!
