Great lunch, remote location - Edit
Really enjoyed my meal here. It's rare to find fully vegan places outside the main cities in Japan. Even more rare to get decent portions of food. Here you can rest assured that you won't leave hungry.
Read moreThe focus is on the sweet bowls. They have tons of options for ice cream with the bowl and one coconut Greek yogurt, which is the one I chose. Excellent flavor and texture! It had no sour taste, so it was more like coconut cheese. Even the small bowl was really enough. Very generous with the fruits too.
They also offer three savory main dishes (in my visit only two). The minced meat with scrambled tofu and veggies was cute. Not the most interesting but very filling.
Location is far away from the city center. Not so much with a car, but with public transportation it takes a long time with poor bus frequency.
Great place. I just wish they were closer and open at morning too.
Currently open until 16. LO at 15:30.

I'm not a sweet bowl fan but the photos looked so good and this is the specialty so we shared the peanut butter ice cream one, as well as one of the two current lunch specials, which was avocado and tomato on rice bread. The bowl was AMAZING - so much fruit, granola, ice cream, and thick fruit puree as well. I ordered the large but a medium would have been fine. It was fin to trade off the sweet and savoury. The avocado toast (again, a thing I never order) had a great and unusual taste, quite lemony maybe? Anyway the bread was great and the sides were as well. We got to meet the cute dog! I love that this little cafe is just on a residential street! Plenty of parking. So glad I made the effort to try this place.

We went to Looney in Morioka for lunch, and enjoyed a truly delicious meal!
Read moreWe ordered the vegedon, the veggie curry with additional nuggets, and an hot ginger apple juice. Really hearty and full of flavor! But be aware that they cook everything in flavorful coconut oil, so the food is quite rich and the coconut flavor is present throughout the entire dish.

Nice Cafe with Delicious Sweets, Nice Owner, and a cute Shiba Dog! - Edit
My husband and I visited this cafe on our trip to Morioka. We were impressed with everything about this cafe! The interior is cozy and clean. The owner and her husband are friendly and welcoming. They have a cute little Shiba Dog named Yubeshi who you can play with in the yard.
Read moreThe menu is extensive and 100% vegan! They have several lunch options. I got the curry and my husband got the Donburi (rice bowl). They were both very large portions! A bit too large for me, but my husband helped me 😂 The most impressive thing for me though were the desserts! The vegan parfait was to die for! It was soooooo good.
I wanted to try everything on the menu because everything looked so delicious. I really wish this cafe was near my house so I could go every week!
They also had some vegan products for sale including homemade granola and flavored nuts, and also things like Alishan's Organic Peanut Butter.
Definitely a must-go cafe if you're in the area!
