Lovely vegan options and staff - Edit
We visited Longstone Lodge and Cafe in May 2025 and were impressed. The member of staff who served us was very friendly and made sure we knew what vegan options were available. There were two vegan soups on the day we visited and both were delicious. My soup came with bread and butter and they provided Flora plant based block which I personally love. My husband chose a soup and sandwich option and got a houmous and salad sandwich. This might not sound particularly exciting but it was a lovely fresh sandwich with plenty of filling. It came with a side salad and coleslaw and a little flag in the sandwich to tell us it was the vegan option and that the coleslaw was also vegan - I love it when places do this kind of thing as it makes me feel like they really care about looking after vegan customers. There was one cake option the day we were there which was an apple cake - it was a bit too soft for my liking (just a personal preference) but had a lovely flavour.

Lovely cafe - Edit
We stopped for tea and cake during a walk, had a delish vegan coconut and jam sponge and tea with soya milk. Will try to visit again before our holiday is over, they had a tempting sounding Thai carrot and squash soup available and a couple of sandwich/toasty options.

Great for coffee and cake when exploring the island! - Edit
Came across this by accident and so happy we did! Perfect spot for coffee and cake! We shared a delicious slice of banana and maple cake as well as having oat milk flat whites - best coffee we had on the island! Looks to be many more vegan options on the menu and if we were staying longer we would have gone back! Staff were lovely and location is beautiful!
