Tasty Char Kway Teow

This stall is located inside one of those new hawker centres with the coin deposit/tray return system. I don't really think this idea works but that's another story altogether.

I ordered takeaway for char kway teow without eggs. You can request to omit eggs for the zi char dishes as they are prepared upon ordering.

The char kway teow tasted good with the right balance of sweet and savoury. It was oily but that's the way old school char kway teow should be. Considering that it was eggless, I think it's one of the better char kway teows I had.

Pros: Decent wok skills of the older auntie

Cons: A bit difficult to locate the stall

vegetarian chicken rice is good!

Generous drumstick size, and with vegetables. Rice is very tasty. Strongly recommended! How I wish I stay in marsiling...

friendly stall owners and really good food

The stall owners are really really friendly! I told them I found their stall on happycow and they’re so happy to know there’s an app for finding veg*n foods.

One of the stall owners said they’ll do zichar dishes throughout the day, though mostly at night, because hey believe that caipng (buffet style) ingredients can only keep up to 4 hours before their nutritional value drops.

Get their char Kway Teow and Kway chap!!
