Good food

They have a separate menu for vegetarian / vegan. The food was really good and not expensive, good portion.

Best vegan Pad Thai

We’ve become regulars at Long Beach Cafe. After trying the Pad Thai at every other restaurant in the area, I can tell you this is the spot.

Awesome food!

So many options of vegan food. They seem to really cater to vegans. Great service, clean. I just wished I lived closer.

Pros: Fast service , Tofu can be added to almost everything

Food is ok

They have an extensive vegan menu which I really appreciate, and they seem very knowledgeable about vegan food, but most of the 4 items we ordered were just ok. The vegan fried rice was pretty good- the rice had a nice ginger flavor and the veggies were cooked perfectly, but the fried tofu was pretty bad- no breading, just chunks of tofu put in a deep fryer. All in all, I would go back and try other things, but I won't expect too much.

Don’t Think I’ll come Back

There are many vegan options in Lakewood, so I choose here because there wasn’t much info on HappyCow about it. We were the only ones in the cafe the entire time, which was good with a toddler. Even the ambiance was nice. The quality of the food was not good though. Found two black hairs in two dishes (I’ve got red hair y’all and my child’s is blonde). One - maybe a mistake. Two - that’s just not following health protocols. There’s so many more Vietnamese options in the area to choose from so I wouldn’t try here again.

Cons: Hair in food in two different dishes, The owner was weird around my child, Dishes tasted kinda bland

Not as impressed

I went after lunchtime and was one of two tables. Other table served immediately. My wait was longer than necessary for empty restaurant. Vegan menu is actually vegetarian. When asked about vegan options, server was no responsive. Food was average. I would probably not go back, more because of the long-stained dirty tablecloths than anything.

Pros: Food was good, Price was proportional to value

Cons: Slow service, Dirty table cloth , Unfriendly staff

Wow!!!

Saw the great reviews and I 100% concur!!! Extremely friendly staff, separate vegan/vegetarian menu, and they know the difference. The food quality was excellent and I had the pineapple-sweet potato curry with tofu....WONDERFUL!!!

Sweet Potato Curry!

Definitely mention you are a vegan and they will make sure to serve you a vegan dish. I always order the sweet potato curry. It’s honestly sooooo good. I go here with my coworkers all the time and all the meat eaters love this place too. I highly recommend it, especially for a group of people with different dietary needs.

Pros: Many options for different diets, The food is so good!, Very accommodating

Cons: Little pricey, Lunch rush can be busy, They need to highlight their vegan menu better!

I love this place! Sadly the last time i was here, our vehicle was broken into. Ive been iffy about going back due to the location. The food is good, but if they are busy, the staff seems overwhelmed and not as attentive.

Separate vegan menu, super friendly and attentive staff originally from Danang in Vietnam, the sweet potato curry was to die for!! Will come back if I get the chance!

Great Food, Large Menu, Friendly Service

I've been here a couple times now. They have a separate vegan menu with quite a lot of options. Everything I've tried so far has been great, and I've always had friendly and quick service.

wonderful flavor

Love the flavor and spices. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice with vegetables and the Tom Yum soup. Both were full of flavor and very fresh.

First Experience

Oh man this place is great! Separate vegetarian/vegan menu, and you can order your entree as spicy as you can handle! I got green bean tofu with level 3 spice and two fried spring rolls with peanut sauce, and I am more than satisfied! I will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu!

Great vegan friendly Thai food

I decided to check this place out when I heard that they have a separate vegan menu. There is always a little bit of hesitancy with Asian restaurants, especially when there is a language barrier. While the separate menu actually says "Vegetarian Menu", not "vegan", many of the items use the word "vegan" in their description. The only thing that was a little off-putting was after asking for the vegan menu, and asking for a "vegan version of Thai's Garden," the waitress immediately then asked me what kind of meat I wanted. I'm willing to believe that it was just habit. The food was delicious. I will definitely visit again.

THE BEST OUT there

this restaurant really knows vegan and even has a separate vegan menu upon request. we eat here weekly and have never been disappointed. don't forget to ask for some of their jasmine tea with your meal.

Nice find in Lakewood!

My friend and I ordered pad thai with half veg and half tofu off the vegan menu and it was delicious! The server was also very helpful and courteous!

Vegan Menu

Went to LB Cafe today and received a separate menu with great looking selections, I ordered the sweet potato, pineapple and tofu curry, delicious... truly. The service was attentive and friendly, the prices fair. Located in a small strip of shops, the locale was pleasant. I only wish their vegan selections were part of the regular menu to entice more to the smart choices an animal free diet provides all.

great small place

They really do a lot with this little place and will go out of their way to accommodate your needs. Their Pumpkin curry is the best.

Veganize it!!

Best Thai restaurant in the pacific northwest, they have a separate vegan menu and they can veganize most of the items on their main menu if you ask, make sure you tell them to Veganize it lol. Their pad thai is to die for, and they have vegan spring rolls and vegan wontons.

Pros: Place you can eat with non vegan Friends, Great Value, friendy staff
