REMOVED: L'Omnibus
Serves meat, vegan options available. Restaurant and bar. The specialty here is steak tartare, but the main menu has 2 veggie choice: a vegetable flavored with truffle oil and a creamy risotto with asparagus. Chalereux style, intimate dining room hung with tapestries compartmentalized and antique tapestries. Removed from HappyCow due to poor veg options.

Not Veg-Friendly - Edit
It serves meat; veg options available. Restaurant and bar. The specialty here is "steak tartare", and the main menu has two veggie choices: a salad and a creamy risotto. So, it's not Veg-Friendly and should be removed from HappyCow. Intimate dining room. Price: 60 €.
Pros: Intimate dining room
Cons: Not Veg-Friendly

Not so vegetarian friendly - Edit
I'm not sure why this restaurant is in Happy cow as when I went there there were 1 or 2 simple salads on the menu + 1 cooked vegetarian (not vegan) dish. The rest was all typical cruel French cuisine: meat, meat, meat (mainly tartares! and I personally don't like sitting at the same table with people eating tartares).
Actually when I went there, there were only 2 portions of the vegetarian dish left and we had to share among three people.
It's a shame because the place is nice and they have a great terrace on the river.
Pros: Terrace
Cons: Food

a hit - Edit
Yes it's pretty weird to list a place which specialises in steak tartare (raw meat), but I was just browsing and the veggie options were excellent, the location was nice (an outdoor terrace in summer right next to the Rhone, looking up the river to the big water fountain in the distance).
The nice bread (lots of nice bread in Geneve) and an ameuse geule foam arrived as soon as I had ordered as did my (boring german style) beer. I chose an excellent gazpacho (with tomato ice-cream!), piquant, perfect.
The main was a simple fricassee of spring vegetables, and it was simple, maybe a bit lightweight, but perfectly done and presented as prettily laid out on a the plate as anything I've ever eaten. The alternative veggis choice I saw on next door's table was extraordinay, slices of pumpkin (melon?) around a mound of alfafa(?), sweetcorn, that crispy fried shredded leeks you get in Geneve, avocado and other stuff, They had a decent choice of wines by the glass.
For dessert I chose the 2 rum baba. This means the waiter arrives with 2 full size bottles of rum, 1 clear, 1 strong dark, then comes back a while later with the donutty thing. Help yourself. Nice, not fabulous, but intoxicating if you feel so inclined. Excellent coffeee, relaxed, good service throughout.
Price for this meal, 50CHF, (42€ £35 50USD), which is midrange for Geneve). Loved it.
Pros: food quality, service, ambiance
Cons: specialises in raw meat !
