CLOSED: LOKI

The women behind the counter is a charm, very talkative, smart and fun person so you won't get bored. The food is vegan but not healthy and that's the concept. The Loki itself is very nice, greasy but tasty. I love the vegan kebab it's sweet and that's what makes it so good.

This tiny joint serves an interesting new concept of "vegan is fun" food: fried vegetable and fruit spirals which are eat from a stick. You can choose from different root vegetable and fruit and they're also open to new suggestions. The spirals may be accompanied by different sauces (garlic, tomato etc).

The spirals seem to be coated and deep fried so not such it's a very healthy choice! Some vegetable are also quite big (beetroot, potato) and it might be boring to eat the same thing after a while.

Apart from this novelty, you can also order vegan kebab (with textured soy protein) and vegan sandwiches with different spreads to chose from.

They also serve delicious soups (interesting mix of vegetables and fruit: I tried the beetroot raspberry soup), juices and teas.

I don't really like fast food places. This one is a fast food. The smallest one I've ever seen-two chairs inside. But the interior is sort of cosy and stylish indeed. I ordered "Potato LOK" -it was very tasty and crispy, sauce was delicious (avocado mayo maybe? ) and I had a lot of fun while eating, it's a tricky thing ! Next time I'm gonna try a kebab there, i've never eaten vegan kebab, not even a vegetarian one. Warsaw seems to love this place- loads of people waiting outside to consume their LOKI !
