Posto carino con una vastissimo selezione di tè ma non consigliato per mangiare. Ha 2/3 opzioni vegane sul menù tra cui del tofu a cubetti con latte di cocco, cipolle, crema di patata dolce e finocchietto. Abbastanza buono ma nulla di eccezionale, inoltre il prezzo di €20 mi sembra molto esagerato visto che non si tratta di un piatto elaborato ma solo assemblato. Hanno anche due dolci vegani, la torta al cioccolato e la torta di carrubba. Abbiamo preso quest'ultima che era anche senza glutine, buona e servita con della panna vegana. In conclusione direi ottimo per bere un tè e mangiare un dolce ma non per un pasto completo

Der Charob Cake war einfach wunderbar, dazu glutenfrei und vegan und wird warm serviert. Die sehr nette Bedienung hat von sich aus darauf hingewiesen, dass die Sahne ebenfalls vegan ist. Während unseres Urlaubs waren wir gleich zwei mal da.

Wish we visited sooner - Edit
On a whim we stopped here for some tea and after reviewing the menu, wished we were hungry at the time. Saw what others had and it looked great.
Read moreOur tea was tasty, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. We sat upstairs on a balcony overlooking the square.
It was our last day on the trip or we would have went back for lunch.

They have outdoor as well as indoor seating upstairs. Best place for some vegan cake and tea in Madeira. Staff are professional and the place is laptop friendly.

We asked for a vegan sandwich, which had good ingredients, but to be honest a bit tasteless. They could level up their vegan options a little bit! On the other hand the tea, the place itself with its sitting possibilities outside were lovely! So good for enjoying a tea. :)

Für Veganer gibt es keine große Auswahl, aber wir konnten mit unseren beiden Freunden (die auch Tierprodukte essen) gut dort essen. Der Service war nett und aufmerksam und wir bekamen auf Nachfrage vegane Sandwiches mit Tofu, Tomate und Avocado angeboten. War lecker, aber nicht besonders. Wir haben uns noch Salz und Pfeffer bringen lassen. Der Schokoladenkuchen hat uns nicht besonders geschmeckt, da er extrem trocken war. Der Johannisbrotmehlkuchen war lecker. Wir wurden satt und waren durchaus zufrieden, denn die Atmosphäre war sehr schön und die Tees waren toll.

Really tasty tofu - Edit
There were two vegan meal options:
Read moreTofu with sweet potato mash and avocado and a mushroom dish served with spaghetti. The mushroom dish is made vegan by not adding the cheese. There is a vegetarian burger but it isn't vegan.
I had the tofu and it was delicious and a refreshing option for a hot day. It was served with fennel tea and cost about eur 15.
Also had a tasty vegan cake served with vegan cream.
Finished with a soy milk cappuccino.
Really nice spot with shaded seating in the square. On a slightly cooler day, there are lovely looking tables on balcony.
Would be great if there were more light vegan options eg sandwiches / toast as was a little expensive for a lunch.

El local interior es muy bonito, con dos plantas. Muy agradable, y con buen gusto. Hay una buena selección de loza y teteras.

Good coffee, not so good cake - Edit
The coffee was good, gf to pay extra for the plant based milk. Had the chocolate vegan cake and was bit disappointed. It was extremely dry, luckily it was served with a ramekin of a vegan cream which was super tasty and great structure (curious what bran was it?) and saved the day really. Nice service tho

Great choices and lovely environment - Edit
The outdoor seating in a small square away from traffic was lovely. Had a lot of variety of drinks choices and tried a vegan cake which was lovely. Also came with vegan cream which was also really nice. Helpful and chatty staff will definitely return.

Great Spot for a Vegan Snack + Coffee/Tea - Edit
Teahouse with a lot of snack options, even a few veggie burger/wraps (but I don't know if vegan), vegan dessert, including sugar free carob cake and chocolate cake or brownie, both made with brown sugar and even vegan cream, coffee was excellent and try out the fresh made juices
