Great food and nice staff - Edit
I love eating at Logica or just having a coffee with some sweets. It's a place where it feels good bringing your laptop or a book and sitting there by yourself.

Fresh healthy vegan food in Leiden - Edit
Great location in the center of Leiden, plenty of seating, friendly staff, and lots of vegan choices on the menu meant I came here twice while spending three days in town. The food was fresh and delicious. I had the Logica Trio (soup, salad & mini veggie burger) and the next time an Israeli open sandwich with roasted eggplant. Yum!

We tried the "Logica Trio" (soup of the day, a mini burger and a salad), the scrambled tofu and the falafels. All were incredible. The staff is very friendly and the location is really cute.

We were lucky enough to sit along the canal on a gorgeous day. The waitress was very friendly and took the time to explain items on the menu and make recommendations. The spinach hummus wrap had a generous portion of hummus (yay protein!) and large slices of grilled zucchini to make it extra hearty on a fresh, perfectly chewy baguette. The pesto sauce and pine nuts on the plate added another layer of flavor. Tip from the waitress: do not leave your food unattended outside - the sea gulls might help themselves!

Tasty food, nice portions. Though I did order an extra side dish with my lunch which was a good idea. Not a fan of their hummus, but loved everything else. Friendly and patient service. Nice place.

Wonderfull lunch experience here. I would highly recommend the pulled jackfruit sandwich. Occasionally, they have vegan pie. This time they had a brownie...perfect with an oatmilk cappucchino.

Organic restaurant next to one of the canals in the city center. It's a nice spot for a lunch break. Friendly staff, they all know what vegan means. Some dishes are (a lot) smaller than others, while they cost the same, so it can be a little pricey.

We had the burger made of black rice, shrooms and beans. Came with three sauces. Afterwards we had the trio of chocolat mousse, brownie and dessert wine. Especially the brownie was amazing! And the dessert wine too! Sit by the window and you have a romantic view as a bonus.

A lot of items on the menu can be made vegan. I had a warm sandwich (tosti) with mushrooms and vegan cheeze. The taste was good but not very special. There was no sauce and only a little bit of salad as a sidedish. But they know what vegan is, they have vegan cheeze and it is a cozy and nice place. Prices are normal.

We went here after finding out that Mix and Fix was closed when it was supposed to be open. Probably a good thing too, because this was good and the place had a much nicer atmosphere. My husband and his parents had the vegetable croquettes (on the blackboard they said vegan but on the menu it was indicated as veg, we assumed that they were vegan). I had the smoked mozzarella and tomato sandwich with pesto sauce. Great to see vegan cheese on the menu - particularly one I had never tried before and it beats the standard hummus vegan option! The service was good and all the food we had was really nice!
Read moreThe acoustics are not optimal - you need to talk louder than normal in there. Other minor observations were that our coats smelt a bit oily after leaving, needs better ventilation in the kitchen. Also, very picky but only a hand towel in the bathroom, would be better if they had a dryer or paper towel.
