Ok'ish food in nice spot - Edit
The food was OK. Mostly processed vegemeats though, partly a bit bland, and a bit disappointing that 2 slices of cucumber and tomato were all vegetable the 20€ meze came with.

Thank you for this vegan heaven in Rethymno 🌱. We enjoyed the service, drinks, and food. It was the only 100% vegan restaurant/bar we could find in this area. The food was delicious and fast-food style. We tried the Mediterranean ciabatta, gyros, and club sandwich and visited over several days. The food is very good value for money, really yummy, and many of the ingredients are self-made. The drinks are good with standard prices directly at the beach. We rented a sunbed for 10€ (2 umbrella), which included a voucher for two soft drinks or coffee. At the end of September, it was not very crowded.

Very delicious vegan Food - Edit
It is the only full vegan restaurant in Rethymno. Nearly every ingredient is handmade and full of taste. Not only the Food is delicious but also the menu make so much fun to decide what to eat. My recommendation is to try the vegan Gyros.

Looked like faux tuna in delicious batter .
I had Gyros pitta . It was soya meat . Very nice .
And second time I had no chicken nuggets. Soya meat in breadcrumbs. Was ok.

We had the mezze, I think thats possibly all we had the choice of. It was ok, if not a bit odd. The background consisted of old men playing cards and smoking, not bothering anyone though. The waiter was friendly and probably the best thing here. The food was vegan meat with some wedges, which was alright as I had been surviving on pita bread and rice at the hotel.

We chose accommodation nearby so we could make this our go-to spot for meals during our stay in Rethymnon. The food was consistently delicious, with very reasonable prices. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but the lack of a baby chair made dining a bit challenging with our fidgety 1-year-old. One downside was that the restaurant is smoking-friendly, which seems common in Greece, but we found it a bit unpleasant.

Had a lunch at the loco vegan snack bar beginning of August 2024. The menu looks great and the prices are very fair. Lots of affordable options to choose from.

The only missing star is the slow service and slow kitchen.
The restaurant had only 2 other tables with customers, yet it took about 15 minutes to bring out the drinks and 30-40 minutes for the dishes. A bit to slow.
Other than that, I can definitely recommend a visit for any vegan or vegetarian 👌

I had researched vegan restaurants before coming out here so to find this gem made our day. Situated on the beachfront, found it about half 7 but was told kitchen was closed and would reopen in an hour. So glad we came back!! My husband and I had the mezze plate and Greek salad to share. Completely stuffed!! Waiter was chatty and very friendly. Definitely coming back xx

Vegan Beach Bar with good options - Edit
The sun beds are 5€ each with umbrella. They offer a nice selection of snacks, sandwiches and beach appropriate dishes. We had wine, greek salad, gyros, frappuccino vanilla, smoothie bowl berry dance. Everything was tasty 👍 We hoped for some greek vegan tapas like hummus, fava or olives but that was not part of their concept. Otherwise, everything was super nice.

Read moreThe only problem is, the hours are incorrect. I went in the afternoon and they were open, but another time I went in the morning and nobody was there.
It also takes forever for them to make the food for some reason, so factor that in. But the food itself is delicious, especially the ice cream!

I‘ve had the paper rice dumplings which were good but the minced soy looked a lot like meat which I personally find a bit disturbing. The fresh juice was great!

Read moreWould have loved to eat here more often during our stay (July ‘23), but unfortunately we ran into the same problem as some others here, that it’s really unpredictable at what times there’s food being served, which is so unfortunate considering the food is so good.
Still, I recommend to come and try because the pita was mind-blowingly good.

Went at 7pm on a Thursday night and they were not serving food. Cocktails were average but overall just disappointing especially considering it’s the only fully vegan establishment in town.

Im vegan and visiting on vacation! Came here with my boyfriend and his mother (not vegan). The drinks were great and loved by everyone! They don’t seem to have a full solidified food menu yet but the food they offered today was amazing!! Woman working (guessing she was the owner) was SO friendly and SO nice. I’d come back a million times just for her hospitality! Hope they’re able to stay in business because they have my full support!!

Haven't been able to get a Gyro yet. - Edit
They are never serving vegan food here in my experience. I came here on 3 seperate occasions, at different times and they were never serving food like the Gyros you see in other reviews. The food they ended up offering us was a few deep fried options like like platter, fries or the club sandwhich. Really dissapointed I haven't been able to try any of the great looking food in the other reviews.

The frozen margherita was amazing however quite expensive at around €10.
Was really hoping to love this place.
Won't be trying to come back and finally get my vegan gyro again.
