Great vegan breakfast! - Edit
The Vegan Big Boy is a great meal! You get plenty to be satisfied, and then some. Pancakes (2) are delicious, and you get to pick the fruit to go with them. Also you decide if you want home fries, or fruit as a side. The Beyond patties (2) are tasty, and go perfectly with the plain but well prepared tofu scramble. Add a juice or coffee, and you are good until dinner.

Cute local vibes - Edit
My wife and I just love this place. The people are nice, the atmosphere is adorable, and the food is pretty tasty. They don’t have a whole vegan menu or anything, but the handful of vegan options are enough to make us happy. For some reason vegan breakfast is really hard to find, so that alone makes LUK unique.

gave me MEAT when i ordered tofu!! - Edit
my mom got for me the tofu bowl or something like that and they ended up giving me a mixture of tofu and TURKEY!! even tho my mom told them i’m vegan and they said that it was vegan. i had about 5 bites of it and then realized the texture wasn’t right and i spit it out and then looked deeply into the food and found MANY pieces of turkey. then i looked at the receipt and it said tofu bowl. i ended up being sick the rest of the night. we went back and they ended up not caring one bit and basically just said sorry and give her a refund and a $20 gift card which i’ll never use. but please i’m begging you don’t come here they don’t care about vegans even though they claim to

Vegan Big Boy - Edit
The vegan big boy has really good value, it's enough to feed 2 people. The vegan pancakes are excellent, the tofu scramble is very bland and could use more seasonings. The sausage patties don't taste like meat at all but are delicious. Although this restaurant can get very expensive if you order beverages, it has guaranteed good vegan food.

Great smoothies and juices - Edit
Good smoothies, juices and coffee but not a lot of vegan options. Tofu scramble needs more flavor. Quinoa bowl is flavorless. Once got tempeh BLT and they gave me turkey bacon, ughh. They had great vegan gluten free pancakes but they took them off their menu. Need more vegan GF options.

tofu scramble, two vegan pancakes, vegan sausage and home fries or fruit for $12? get. out. this is the only place in the area that offers such a massive, sweet and savory breakfast/brunch and i'm here for it.

Great place - Edit
Food was delicious and place nice, just wish they could put on some more relaxing music but it wasn’t that loud. ( I wasn’t bothered that much by it.)

I really really want to love this place - Edit
The food is bland. Mushroom-heavy tofu scramble seems to contain only one spice, and that spice is turmeric. Mehhh. Had to dump a bunch of salt and cholula to bring out some flavor. The veg sausages, also, bland with weird sweet undertones. It's the ONLY place around for sit-down vegan breakfast option, so I guess they have that going for them. No problem w service. Waitstaff was super-nice and quick.

Good Vegan options - Edit
I always love to visit local Urban kitchen as a treat. There are plenty of good vegan options for me which I love. One real bonus is that I can bring my kids here and there are plenty of menu items for them to choose from. It's a warm comfortable place with a very local Vibe and feel to it.

We wanted to love you - Edit
The best way to describe them is that their food tastes "stereotypically vegan". They don't know how to properly prepare vegan food. At this price, it SHOULD NOT be dry and tasteless. There are no other vegan restaurants close by, so we want to love this place, but they've disappointed consistently for 2 years. We're done trying. The smoothies are inconsistent and taste badly. The food is flavored poorly (if at all) and leaves you with a weird taste for about an hour afterward. Too often the food is dry and served at the wrong temperature. Their customer service tops the cake with their negative undertone and snootyness.

Great place for breakfast - Edit
Local Urban Kitchen is a great place for breakfast. The staff is helpful, friendly and attentive. The informal ambiance of this cheerful restaurant makes eating festive. I enjoyed the custom tables and benches constructed from varnished wooden pallets. There are many vegan breakfast choices: oatmeal, fresh fruit bowl with coconut yogurt, vegan mozzarella/cheddar cheese, pancakes, waffles. I had the Vegan Big Boy - tofu scramble with two vegan pancakes, vegan sausage and fruit (you could substitute homefries) which set me up for the day.
