Good option for downtown Powell dining - Edit

The menu has some vegan options and some options that can be veganized. We had the vegan version of the Veggie Nirvana pizza. The crust was nicely crunchy on the edges. The selection of veggies and Miyoko’s cheese worked really well. One of the wait persons was pretty knowledgeable about the vegan options and was very attentive, perhaps in part because they were training new staff. It seemed like a poor menu choice though that their black bean burger was made with cheese and bread. The beer menu looked pretty extensive.

Had a few vegan options, they were okay, nothing super special. I love that they have the vegan options clearly marked on the menu, but the staff wasn’t very knowledgeable about it

Good food - Edit

Had a lot of vegan options, I was a little surprised. All the food I got was very good and the wait staff was very friendly. Will go again.

Pros: Lots of options, Friendly staff, Good location

good food. limited vegan options - Edit

Nice place. One item on menu was marked vegan, a curry, and it was delicious. My server warned me that the black bean burger contained egg.

Pros: at least one explicitly vegan option on the menu

Cons: beware black bean burger contains egg

Next time your in, please ask for me. I will happily guide you through the menu. We have 6 dishes on our regular menu that are or can be made vegan not including salads and pizzas. All items that are vegan are marked with a vegan symbol.
In addition to our regular menu items, we offer one-two weekly specials that are vegan on our weekly feature menu.

Awesome food and the options keep expanding! - Edit

Local roots has amazing vegan options that are clearly marked on the menu. They keep adding more options! Recently had the pizza and it was great. Live music and a great atmosphere are icing on the cake.
