Die Frühlings- und Sommerrollen und die vegane Ente waren super. Das, was als "Honig" (frittierte Banane mit Honig) in der Karte steht, ist laut Kellner Agavendicksaft und kein tatsächlicher Honig.

Not completely vegan - Edit
A main dish costs somewhere between 11-14€, the portion size is appropriate but the execution and ingredients don’t reflect the price. I had the Udon with mock duck and the noodles were just tossed in a sauce with huge vegetable pieces thrown in. Wasn’t convinced but will come back.

The place is overhyped. Can’t recommend.
Visited again in November 2025 and this time had the stir fried noodles with mock duck and peanut skewers. Much better. Still can‘t give 5 stars as the place is labeled vegan but sells two ice teas and a dessert with honey so minus one star for misleading advertising.

War wirklich seeehr lecker, haben trotz Reservierung zwar ein wenig gewartet, dafür aber eine Runde Getränke aufs Haus bekommen. Generell war das Personal sehr nett. Alles vegan, hatten Edamame, die Udon Xao mit veganem Chicken (Nr. 32/33) und Tom Xao Rao (Nr. 43), sehr zu empfehlen!!

Riesige Auswahl an wohlschmeckenden Gerichten - Edit
Egal auf was man gerade Lust hat, im Loc wird man eigentlich immer fündig. Das Essen ist klasse, der Staff freundlich und umsichtig. Es ist allerdings meist etwas voll und leider ungemütlich. Das ist schade. Dennoch volle Punktzahl.

Jedes unserer Gerichte war richtig gut. Insbesondere die vegane Ente war eine sehr positive Überraschung. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen wurde schnell gebracht.

Super Ort für Sushi - Edit
Es gibt eine sehr große Karte mit einer guten Auswahl an Vorspeisen, Nudel- und Reisgerichten sowie Sushi. Die speziellen Sushivariationen sind richtig gut und auch die Soße mega. Bedienungen sind ganz freundlich.

The restaurant is cozy and the menu included many interesting dishes. The dishes ordered were not as tasty (less umami) as expected and there was a lot of random salad leaves (also below the miso spinach) just to fill up space and look more instagramable. This was not mentioned in the menu description and its use completely unnecessary. The noodles did not look and taste like fried/roasted. The prices are fair.

Es ist zentral am Hauptbahnhof gelegen, auch zum abholen eignet es sich, denn man findet in der Straße immer einen kleinen Spot um kurz anzuhalten.

Wenn man abholt bekommt man sogar noch einen kleinen Rabatt.

Read moreSelbst der einfache, gebackene Tofu mit Erdnuss-Sauce ist so ein Highlight, dass man sich hineinlegen möchte. Die saure Suppe und der Nudelsalat mit Frühlingsrollen sind auch Specials, etwas Vergleichbares habe ich noch nirgends sonst bekommen. Das Restaurant ist sogar einen Trip nach Mainz wert.

It was definitely filling and yummy and my boyfriend (Japanese) enjoyed it too! But since the sushi do be pricey (27€ per person) I think I am gonna try a main dish (12-15€) next time!!

Tasty food especially the sushi and prawns. Vegans should be aware that even if they call themselves vegan kitchen there are dishes and drinks that contain honey and a few times I've visited they had milk and honey soap in the restrooms. Still a really good restaurant with tons of vegan dishes and many great mock meats.

I really like their food, staff is friendly and you get your order quite fast. I just dislike the location, their seating is inconvenient so its hard to sit there a longer time. The room is quite dark and completely packed with tables and seats, so you just have little space. Two times I visited the restaurant you could smell the toilet which was rly uncool. But all in all the different dishes they offer, the quality, price and taste beat the (in my opponion) bad location.

Wir waren jetzt insgesamt etwa 8-10x in den letzten drei Jahren im Loc und jedes Mal war es ein tolles Erlebnis. Die Preise sind mittelpreisig, aber definitiv angemessen. Die Portionsgröße für einen erwachsenen Mann (Vorspeise & Hauptspeise) füllend. Tolle Auswahl zwischen (veganer!) Ente, Hühnchen, Shrimps etc. Auch die Vorspeisen sind ein Hingucker und es empfiehlt sich wirklich zu zweit, dritt oder viert zu gehen, damit man von den anderen etwas stibitzen und testen kann. Lage ist top in absoluter Laufnähe zum Mainzer Hauptbahnhof und man sollte zu Stoßzeiten vorher reservieren. :)

We were pleasantly surprised by this place. We - vegans and omnivores alike - all very much enjoyed our food. The “duck” was a massive surprise to both my meat-eating colleague (“so real”) and also to myself: loved it despite not generally being a seitan fan. Strongly recommended!

We've been here twice now, and although the food was slightly better the first time, this is definitely a place worth a visit. The noodle soups are huge and very tasty, and the sushi is imaginative and delicious.

Tip: Skip the starter (or have some sushi to start). The starter section is overpriced for what you get - i.e. €7,50 for 3 vegan shrimps. Also, since the portion sizes are so large, a starter might just be a waste.

Yesterday we had dinner at Loc.
Read moreFor starters, we shared won tons and tofu skewers with peanut sauce. Then I ate the udon noodles with vegan duck. For dessert, we shared the sesame balls.
Everything tasted good, but it wasn't outstanding.
Next time I would like to try the sushi.
The staff were very friendly and the restaurant is nicely decorated.
