An impresively pleasant place on the North Shields quayside area. I don’t usually do after work meal gatherings but this was a special one and the place was on Happy Cow so I was keen to go. I had the adequately sized Hongos vegan burrito priced at £15 packed with Garlic mushrooms, spinach, lime, crispy vegetables, white cabbage, chipotle and salsa verde. I also ordered the extra side of different salsas to spice things up a bit. Also managed to snaffle some tasty nachos making sure to select ones next to salsa and not the cheese of course. Naughty, but it was actually extremely risk free.

Visited for the first time on Saturday night, and wasn’t disappointed. There’s are so many veggie and vegan options. I really struggled to decide but had the vegan vegetable burrito, it was full of flavour I’ll definitely be back!

Had the chilli fries and cauliflower tacos. Really enjoyed them. Not a massive amount of vegan options but what is on the menu is great. They had a stall at the Salt Market Social which runs every couple of weeks at North Shields fish quay and served vegan sweet potato quesadillas which were delicious and should definitely be added to their restaurant menu

Yummy Authentic Tacos - Edit
I had delicious vegan cauliflower and black bean tacos with my veggie friend who had the quesadillas. We both shared chips and nachos! Menu clearly labelled and knowledgable staff. The decoration and ambience added to the lovely experience. Will be coming back!

Great New Mexican restaurant. Great veggie/vegan options and very accommodating staff. They were very helpful and happy to adjust dishes to make them vegan. Highly recommend the tacos and the vegan burrito. Also the veggie fries made vegan were to die for!
