Worth a visit - Edit
Both sweet and savory options, both choices here. Got the dirty coffee(cold) with oat milk. Also mango kale salad (great), egg tomato sandwich ( not great, bland), char siu (small but tasty), cinnamon roll (great) and Hong Kong cocktail roll filled with creamed coconut (great). Service super friendly and fast. They all speak English and help you with ordering. Overall, a really nice café experience. Will come back!

Great desserts - Edit
It was a bit hard to find but we managed to get the address one Alipays didi service by looking up the wukang building, it popped up underneath as a suggestion. The food was good, we had the hu fun (7.5/10) and the salt and pepper mushrooms (9/10! Pictured). The desserts are so good! We had the strawberry mousse cake (7/10) and the apple cinnamon bun (8/10).

Lots of options - Edit
We ordered the salt and pepper mushrooms and hu fun noodles. Both really tasty and satisfying. The mushrooms were a bit oily though.
Read moreWe had to try some of their desserts which all looked amazing! We had the chocolate strawberry cake and apple and cinnamon roll. The cake was almost like chocolate mousse with a jelly strawberry filling. And the roll came warm with a delicious filling. I would say try the salted Oreo cake if you go!
Pros: Many options , Has desserts , Good for gluten free
Cons: A little expensive (for China) , Hard to find

SO GOOD! - Edit
Good portion sizes and so, so delicious. All staff (at the time of this paying) are vegan or vegetarian, too!
Read moreI got a hazelnut coffee (less sweet), the HK Style Vegan "Char Siu" Pastry, Fortune Pie, Signature Pan Fried "Ho Fun", HK Style Vegan "Char Siu" w/ Rice, and bean curd rolls. My favorite dish was the fortune pie, but everything was great.
This is also a really nice space. It’s located on the 8th floor of the building. Take the elevator to the 7th floor, and walk one flight up.

Lovely experience - Edit
We loved everything!! I wanted Asian food whereas my partner prefers fusion and Western-style food so this place was great for us.
Read moreWe ordered the Indonesian curry, hot dog, a beautiful blue avocado drink, apple cinnamon roll and pineapple bun and couldn't fault anything. I really appreciated how they heated up the pineapple bun!
The staff were also very friendly and happy to help with our WeChat ordering issues. I'd visit this place again and again!

Welcome Home - Edit
A return to Shanghai wouldn't be complete without a return home & that is exactly the welcome we received. The staff make this place and the food that much more enjoyable. I was lucky to try the new strawberry & chocolate ice creams, the churros which are all amazing, as well as sampling a new peanut cookie. So happy to see so many happy familiar faces and see that this place is popular.

It's been 2 years since LN Fortunate closed & now they are finally back in Shangha in an amazing new location in the heart of the former French concession. Look for Peet's Coffee and round to the right of it is an entrance where you can take a lift to the 7th floor, then the stairs up to the 8th floor attic space where you will be warmly greeted like family by the amazing staff. What a stunning space this is with a small rooftop balcony affording great views but none as great as the mural painted by an extremely talented local artist. I was lucky to attend the opening party last Wednesday but today I wanted to try regular service. You can follow their Wechat account to receive 10% off your orders and you order by scanning the QR code on your table. We both had the vegan burger and fries, which were as good as I remember especially the salt & pepper seasoned fries. The cinnamon bun and matcha breads were amazing relying on flavour rather than sugar. I had an oat milk latte to go which was delicious. I look forward to trying other menu items.

NEATEST PLACE IN SHANGHAI!!! - Edit
This is the trendiest, most welcoming coffee shop in Shanghai. And it’s so much more than a coffee shop! All the food is excellent, especially the curries. Their coffee is top notch. Everyone is so nice. It’s on the top floor of a building with a clock and you can see out through the back side of the clock!!

My favourite vegan place in the world - Edit
I love this place. The food is great. The staff are great. The rooftop area has nice views and inside it’s equally beautiful.
Read moreIt might be tricky for some to find so here’s some simple directions to help. If you walk down Wukang Road from Hunan Road on the right side of the road you will go past Ferguson Lane on your right (shops area) which has two entrance/exits. After the second of these, there are some steps on the right just before you get to the junction with Taian Road. Go up these and walk down the side of the building (which is on your left) for 5m until you get to a glass door. Go in and on the left are two lifts. Go up to the top floor (labelled for the Cafe), come out of the lifts and then ahead and up the stairs one floor to the cafe. Enjoy! It’s a wonderful place. Photo directions in attached image.

An Extension of My Home - Edit
“Welcome home,” the staff—essentially, extended family for every guest—says jubilantly upon arrival. And it is indeed home. The welcoming, calm atmosphere is unparalleled. The combination of sweet and savory foods, unique. The coffee and tea bar….the array of delicious cakes and breads (none too sweet)…new offerings added periodically…the beautiful views from the terrace….
Read moreThis is a must-visit restaurant.
Make sure to try the “tofu skin” which comes with the Hong Kong char siu dish. Tastes like egg. The Hong Kong soup has a distinctly wonderful broth. The avocado & “pork” wrap is a great appetizer.
The lemon cheesecake is a favorite. Every cake and dessert is a must-try. And the lattes are made by professionals.
“Come back home again,” the staff tells us upon departure.
I will for sure. Again and again and again and…

Absolutely delicious food - Edit
We’ve been here 4 times in the last month and we live an hour away - this tells you how much we love it! The menu is a mix of western and Asian dishes, and they have a small counter with yummy baked goods. The environment is peaceful and beautifully decorated. The staff are so, so nice - incredibly kind and friendly.
Read moreSo far, we’ve tried: signature pan fried ‘ho fan’, tom yum noodle soup, Hong Kong style satay noodle soup, sweet & sour nuggets, mixed veg with curry sauce and the all day breakfast.
Everything was delicious but the highlights for us have been the sweet & sour nuggets, the ho fan and the tofu truffled ‘eggs’ on the breakfast. The sweet & sour nuggets are my favourite - crunchy, sticky, yummy and totally reminiscent of a childhood dish I never thought I’d taste again. The truffled ‘eggs’ are spectacular, if a tad on the salty side for me.
The deserts we’ve tried are: the salted Oreo cake (YUM), the chocolate log (good but quite rich), blueberry cheesecake (best vegan cheesecake we’ve had) and the cinnamon roll (nice but a little dry, would be perfect with a glaze or icing on top).
There are many things still on our list to try here and we’ll definitely keep coming back. Our current favourite place. ❤️
Pros: Totally vegan, Consistently good food, Lovely environment and staff
Cons: Noodle soups could be a little hotter.
