Isio Mwy; Very Simple Vegan Options.

Llwy a Mwy is a popular deli based in the heart of Dyffryn Nantlle. This Penygroes based deli offers take out fresh foods and also caters to events.

I attended an event they catered, and they were informed there would be a vegan in attendance. They made a large spread, which went down well with those in attendance, and my vegan food was separated in its own labelled box. The box consisted of a packed Salad Roll with a warm spicy sauce, some crisps, and a Millionaire Shortbread. Llwy a Mwy took care to avoid cross contamination and left strict instructions with the venue staff regarding the vegan option. The food was pretty uninspired, and if I were to have wanted more, nothing in the buffet itself appeared to be vegan.

The deli itself has rotating specials and menus, often including vegan options such as Salaad Boxes and Vegan Cheese and Onion Sandwiches, Paninis, and Toasties. I'll definitely pay the deli itself a visit and see if there are any more vegan options on site. Overall, I'm surprised this small deli in a largely agricultural community even has any vegan at all and hope they add more in the future.
