This was definitely a treat for me. I have tried many vegan places and they always disappoint me. The food here was excellent and very flavorful. I live on the other side of town (1 hour away) but i will definitely be back to enjoy this food again.

It’s always been a struggle trying to find healthy vegan food on my side of town, but when I visited NBWS this past weekend I was so happy to discover this black-owned Caribbean vegan restaurant! I especially loved that they give out samples before you purchase! Having a gluten allergy makes it even harder for me to find food when ever I decide to go out and eat. I’m just so grateful I found out about this place! 10/10!

I absolutely loved Lively Up Icells energy. They are extremely positive and the food downright hits the spot. I wish they were at New Black Wall St Market all week!! They have served me the best quinoa I have ever had in my life. I love how they are soy-free so I can bring my allergic vegan friend! The food is so yummy and absolutely unique. It also saves really well for leftovers. All my friends and family have been incredibly impressed and I know I’ll be back often!! I am extremely grateful for delicious vegan food in an area that can be somewhat of a desert. It’s an absolute must try!!

Omg this is what I've been waiting to find. Food that is filling and healthy without the meat substitutes. I had the fritters with ginger sauce, collard greens, jerk mushrooms and yellow rice. Everyone was super friendly in this family owned business and I thoroughly enjoyed every single bite. They are only open Friday-Sunday at this location but do pop up shops throughout the state. You have to try it! The Chef was very passionate about his work and you can tell all the employees were having a nice time and loved what they do. Good vibes and food all around.
