Excellent vegetarian options in this comfortable and welcoming restaurant - Edit
My wife and I are "flexitarians" who strive to eat as close to vegan as we can but allow some egg and dairy occasionally. We had a lovely dinner at the Little House today. You sit in a comfortable dining room which feels very "homey". The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful (our water glasses were never empty!). We had two salads, the roasted butternut squash and the Gado Gado. The butternut squash salad had goat cheese feta which you could ask them to hold and it would then be vegan. It consisted of a bed of spinach with cubes of warm roasted squash, dried cranberries, pepitas and a scoop of red quinoa. The Gado Gado had a boiled egg which could be left off and it would be vegan. The Gado Gado also had a bed of spinach with a scoop of white rice in the center, surrounded by strips of lightly fried tofu, pickled daikon and carrot shreds, shredded red cabbage and topped with a peanut dressing. Both were very good. We had a flourless chocolate torte for dessert which probably had dairy in it but we didn't ask. We were very happy with our experience.
