Cozy, amazing rotti - Edit
Comparing with previous pictures here they renovated it and it looks super cool from the inside! Nothing was clearly marked as vegan (like in normal Sri Lankan restaurants) and I had the vegetable fried rice and it was nothing special but nice. We also had a rotti and it was one of the best rottis I had in Sri Lanka! The staff was also friendly.

The Restaurant is not vegetarian. They also serve fish, chicken and dolphin!
Read moreWe asked them for vegan food. They know about Veganism. They recommended us the „Rotti & Dhal Curry“ and the „Vegetable noodles“, which is both vegan.
The Dhal with rotti was okay, but nothing special. The Noodles were boring, served with ketchup!
We normally are no picky eaters. But this restaurant didn‘t satisfy us.
Summarized they offer vegan food. The atmosphere is nice and the service is okay. We didn’t like the vegan food. We wouldn‘t go there a second time.

The service was friendly though our table was a bit dirty. Menu unimpressive, but we went for the rice and vegetable curry and got rice and 5 different currys/sambar and papadam. All the food was tasty, but a few of the dishes were served cold. All in all a positive experience.

I ordered a vegetable lentil soup for 440 Rp. Good, but at other restaurant, which is not whole vegetarian is much more tastier and cheaper.

Delicious traditional food - Edit
We had breakfast/brunch here and enjoyed the delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. Coconut string hoppers, vegan dal, coconut curry and fresh sambal. They offer espresso and fresh juices as well. Yum!!

Newly renovated, all of the buffet was vegan when we were there apart from dessert. The daal and aubergine were delicious! Friendly staff too!

Had great food and vegan options. They made us extra chili paste from scratch when we asked for some additional spice. Big portion of food for a cheap price. Highly recommended even if the place itself doesn’t feel like an restaurant. Close to little Adams peak and nine arch bridge.

Cozy Breakfast Place - Edit
We stopped here after our early morning trip to little Adams peak / Nine Arches Bridge to have breakfast. The host was amazing even if she couldn’t speak english very well we were served with a great cup of tea, coconut roti, yam and fruits. The only thing which was not so nice is that the porch is directly on the street to little Adams peak, so we had hundreds of loud tuk-tuks driving by bringing tourists up the hill which was kind of annoying.

A cosy quiet little place right next to the woods - Edit
The staff was more than helpful, and excellent hosts. The whole menu is vegetarian, lacto-ovo, and they have the best roti and dahl curry. I highly recomendable it!
