This is hands down my favourite place in the world - Edit
Weekly regular customers and never disappointed with my meals here. Food is so fresh and vibrant and full of tastes. Nothing else is quite like it. Raw slices are also heavenly, honestly haven’t had an underwhelming meal here and I’ve come every week for the past two years!❤️

Beautiful raw food - Edit
Had the nachos, and a strawberry cheesecake for dessert. The nachos had tasty individual components, and altogether had a good combination of textures. The strawberry cheesecake had a lovely silky texture, and not too sweet. Would come back for more cake.

No plates and cutlery? - Edit
Not sure what was happening but the one time we came here and ordered a wrap to eat in, they didn't have plates or cutlery...?
Read moreWe had the cold veggie wrap which I can't see listed on the menu right now - maybe it's a daily thing? Anyways, it was quite generic and bland.
Overall, a bit confused with the experience.

Incredible food - Edit
I love the food here! Many of their ingredients are organic which is amazing! Have tried many things off the menu but my favourite would have to be the chickpea 'omelette' with mushrooms. Such a great texture and flavours. I also love the kimchi pancake and dosa. I've always had amazing service, and a fab experience.
Read moreThe hotcakes are also delicious but very sweet so great for sharing.
They have also started offering dinner service, and the mezze platter was amazing!
My favourite sweet treat is their choc brownie and their ginger slice.
Pros: Yummy, healthy and organic food, Delicious flavours, Great service and atmosphere
Cons: Slightly pricey

Yum vegan food but pricy and small portions. - Edit
Lots of yummy food options! The food is all raw/ organic and everyone enjoyed what they had! A bit expensive for the reasonably small portions. We enjoyed ourself but left a little hungry and ate more when we got home.

My Favourite vegan restaurant in Auckland!! - Edit
The food, service and atmosphere here is amazing! I went with my best friend and the highlight for me was the sprouted bread and their brownies. The Kumara pancakes were a real treat, also there açai bowl game was strong. Avoid the grawnola as the serving size is small and insignificant in comparison to an açai bowl for the extra dollar. They have so many amazing raw treats in there cabinet aswell. I loved the funky vibes here, the helpful staff and all the amazing food options.

Best vegan restaurant in New Zealand - Edit
Little Bird is my absolute fav restaurant and offers a great choice of raw and cooked dishes. Every dish delights with an explosion of flavours. The menu is a mix of fresh juices, smoothies, coffees and breakfast, lunch and dinner, not to forget the divine raw cakes and cookies in the cabinet. Almost everything is a must-try but I especially recommend the kimchi pancake, kumara hot cakes, kimchi burger, omelette, the toasted bread with nut cheese, kale and kelp noodle salad, dosa, bird bowl, courgette flowers, mezze platter, raspberry chocolate brownie, passionfruit cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake and the raw caramel macadamia cookie. Hence, you won't be disappointed no matter what you order ☺

Delicious & Nourishing - Edit
Favourite place in Auckland for nourishing, delicious food. My recommendation is the sprouted bread with cashew cheese and tomato weird customer service once where my smoothie packaging broke as I walked out the door and they refused to replace it (2 x $10 smoothies!) but was escalated and eventually offered vouchers which was nice. Pricing is standard or a little below other cafes in the area but the standard of food you'll get is leaps and bounds above and beyond

Good Food, Nice Atmosphere - Edit
We had a lovely lunch here, though by the time we got there around 1:30p, they were sold out of quite a lot. The food was good, some interesting combinations. I would be up for giving it another try. It was definitely a bit overpriced.

Amazing Cafe!! - Edit
I found this cafe a little while ago and I absolutely love it. Mostly vegan with the most beautiful tasting food, literally the best I've ever had. I just wish they didn't use honey or bee pollen in some of their food. However still the best cafe I've been to in Auckland.

Nice vegan food - Edit
I've eaten here many times over the years, and have enjoyed it every time. My favourites are probably the vegan cheesecakes WITHOUT the honey. Always check with them as honey is used in many of their foods. This is probably the biggest drawback, in my opinion, as honey is totally unnecessary since there are numerous plant-based natural sweeteners available. Moreover, honey isn't healthy, and those who think so are misinformed.
Read moreAnyway, the vegan food is lovely, the staff are friendly, and the decor is inviting.
Since it's a popular spot in Ponsonby, it can get extremely busy and crowded, so it's best to call beforehand and make a booking. Otherwise, it's likely that you'll be in a queue, waiting for a table to free up.
Pros: Lots of vegan options, Delicious, nutritious foods
Cons: Pricey, but this is common with raw vegan cuisine , Can get stuck in a queue if you don't book a table
