Cozy rainbow and unicorns oasis with friendly staff - Edit

I went there the other week and had a fantastic night out. Unfortunately I did not pass by during day time and did not have any food here. - The night out was fantastic though. The place is like a cozy little living room with a bar, one that includes a rainbow and unicorns. There was good live music that night, which I really appreciate. The whole place as a community feel to it and is welcoming. It was no problem to order a tasty iced coffee in English, chat with friendly people and dance together. Will definitely pass by again.

Pros: great atmosphere, music, LGBTQIA friendly

Only at noon - Edit

There is no restaurant service the evening, it's a bar that serve dishes at noon.
There are few options, that changes during season, but it's tasteful.
Ambiance is cool, very friendly.

Pros: friendly staff, LGBTQ+ bar

Cons: few options but hey, it's a bar!, not well located

Friendly place, good price - Edit

Friendly service, good beers, only vegan food, lgtbq-friendly, plenty of unicorns all around. The cheap wine is actually really nice. Basic food options, but portions impressive for what they call " not enough for a meal" hours are excellent, prices are excellent, friendly community vibe.

Pros: vegan food, community feel, hours

Nice place and simple food - Edit

We had a lunch at this vegan and LGBT+ friendly bar/restaurant. The place in itself is very nice. The tables are pretty close to each other, so come rather with your friend than for a romantic date. The food was pretty good. Very simple but tasty, fresh and also cheap (we had a huge winter salad with smoked tofu for only 6€). We had some organic bread too.
However, the place around 12:30 pm was completely overcrowded and we only found a place on an outdoor table.

Pros: Service, LGBT+ friendly, Payment by credit card without a minimum purchase

Cons: Very close tables

Cute bar but with uninspiring vegan meals - Edit

Having lived in Lille for 6 mths and predominantly made my own home cooked vegan meals my boyf and I wanted to give this place a go. I'll be gentle. The bar itself is cute and cozy and they appear to have a nice selection of drinks.

It's important to note I think - We came for lunch on a Friday. The Monday of the next week they were closed for a week - so this might have had an impact on the food and thus on my review. They offer a daily menu with a selection of a soup, plate of the day and a dessert. We ordered two plates of the day - Tofu omelette with roasted potatoes and a salad. Uninspiring and sloped on the plate. The salad was a pathetic 1/4 piece of lettuce leaf with some white sauce dribbled on top and the potatoes were more oil than potato and the actual omelette wasn't my thing. For dessert there was a Cashew cream and rice milk pudding topped with a selection of fresh fruits - except what was served to us was 1/4 cup of off white liquid with a spoon in it, no fruit. (See photo). Either they forgot the fruit or they had run out???

Considering this is the only vegan restaurant in a city of non vegan I would have expected more from this place (to attract customers make good vegan food). There was no love in this food at all. At the end of the day you'll still get a edible vegan meal but I wouldn't recommend it or return to it.

As is in the title "Dive Bar" thus food is clearly not their forte. I'd suggest coming here to support them with the intention of drinking. That way if you order food it's just a bonus and who knows - you might have a better meal then we did.

Fantastic vegan bar, great atmosphere - Edit

This bar is a must-visit if you are a vegan and visiting Lille. The atmosphere is great, it is an LGTB+ friendly bar with great food. Their main meals are at lunch time, in the evening they serve smaller meals, but also these are worth it. One tip is their bean salad bowl, which can be eaten as a lovely snack. Staff are great and they are very welcoming to visitors, showing great interest in them.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great food, Lovely atmosphere, LGBT+ friendly

Vegan food, good (craft) beers and friendly staff - Edit

Lille is an awesome city, but you can't call it vegan friendly. It's French cuisine all the way. Liquium is basically the only vegan choice you have, but that's not a pity. Liquium is awesome. It feels like a living room. A real dive bar experience. The bar owner is really nice. Recommends things to do in Lille. When we were there, it was karaoke night. We didn't sing, but loved to listen to the singing with French accents :-) Summary: if you eat vegan, don't miss this place!

Liquium: mirabilia (formidable)! - Edit

Another excellent find, thanks to the Happy Cow app!
My partner and I had lunch here whilst visiting the Palais Beaux-Arts in Lille, which is a short walk away. I had the flavousome pumpkin soup as a starter and my partner had the winter salad which also came as a main and was a wonderful assortment of flavours and textures. We both had the potato and kidney bean casserole for a main, which came with brocolli and the generous portions were hearty, tasty and filling. The tarte citron for dessert was wonderful. We chose bottles of kriek and a blonde beer from the drinks list and both were very good.
The surroundings were very comfortable and pleasant and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food is very tasty, nutritionally very well-balanced and incredibly good value. The music was at a good level to be unobtrusive, yet adding to the ambiance. In short, a completely satisfying lunch and we will definitely eat here again when we go back to Lille.
