Bold flavours, romantic ambience

I brought my husband here for his birthday and we both loved it. I would recommend the salt and pepper tofu and the okra - SO GOOD.
The cocktails are a little pricey but they were really fun and much more interesting than your run of the mill restaurant cocktail.

Pros: Range of vegan options, Bold tofu dishes (hurrah, protein!) , Cocktails, romance, ambience

Get the salt and pepper tofu

The food was overall pretty good but the salt and pepper tofu really stood out. I had to ask to make sure things were vegan because they aren’t marked on the menu but the staff was knowledgeable.

Edit: came back 8-19-22 for takeout and also tried the cauliflower dry pot—so good!

Edit: They have even more vegan options! Loved the dumplings and tomato salad. Can’t wait to try more of their menu. Also liked their margarita and oolong Collins cocktails. This is a great date place.

Great flavor!

If you like spice and that peppery Sichuan flavor, don’t skip out on this place. The server was so helpful about vegan options. We got the pepper tofu, greens and eggplant fries. Cocktails amazing too! The server said more veg things will be coming soon!

Pros: Friendly service , Unique flavors, Yummy Cocktails

Mouth-tingling, flavorful, great drinks

Wonderful Szechuan food in an intimate space by Jerry Traunfield, who did the (now defunct) Poppy next door. Servers have always been extremely knowledgeable about vegan options. This place has perhaps the best tofu dish in town! Drinks are wonderful. Tables do fill up even on week nights, so you may want to make a reservation.

Pros: ambiance, food is excellent, thoughtful cocktails

Cons: vegan options never change
