Highly recommend - Edit
We had the afternoon tea which was lovely. Good choice of cakes and loose teas to have with it. The avocado sandwich was a bit weird but everything else was really good. Clearly labelled vegan items on the menu and lots of choice.

Lots of vegan options! - Edit
Great to find this place in Cheddar. Plenty of vegan options, English style, doorstep sandwiches, chilli, baked potatoes, scones, soup, avo on toast.
Read moreBeen a couple of times, avos super tasty, the best things was the vegan milkshakes! Absolutely delish!
Cheese and homemade vegan coleslaw sandwiches also good, just a bit too much butter for my taste so will order without next time!
I was very excited for the scones! And while it was good, the cream was runny and not very nice. They use vegan whipped cream om the milkshakes and that would be much better with the scone!!
Pros: Courtyard seating that allowed dogs, Super friendly staff, Lots of vegan options (for this area)
Cons: Scone cream

Vegan Cream Tea - Edit
Lots of vegan options including chilli, toasties, sandwiches, cream tea and cake. They also offer a vegan afternoon tea option.
Read moreI had the toasted cheese sandwich and a cream tea whilst my partner had the chilli and cheese chips. Both plentiful.

Nice cafe on tourist area - Edit
I was very pleased to find this place with several vegan options available. The breakfast menu finishes at 1200 so I was on the lunch menu, fortunately the avocado brunch was on both menus which is what I ordered. It said it was a ciabatta but looked more like a thick roll, reminded me of a cream eclair! It did taste nice though. I also ordered the vegan cream tea, the scone was definitely one of the better or best vegan scone I’ve eaten, unfortunately the cream did let it down, it tasted coconut based but was far too runny that if you tilted the scone or took a bite a lot of it run off. Nonetheless I was pleased to have the option and it would be a game changer if they could get thicker cream.

Nice afternoon tea but - Edit
Ordered 1 vegetarian afternoon tea (for me) and a regular one for my boyfriend. Unfortunately they both came served on the same tray meaning meat sandwiches and vegetarian sandwiches were in contact. It wasn’t too much of a concern for me but just a warning for vegans/veggies dining with non-veg friends.

My mum and I visited today, we went by most of the cafes on the off chance one of them did a vegan cream tea. This is where we found one!
Read moreThe cafe itself is beautiful, retro but tasteful and the garden is magical and abundant with flowers.
The cream tea was delicious, everything was handmade by the chef and the cream was far more delicious than I remember clotted dairy cream to be.
The woman who served us was super chatted and helpful (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name!)
Thanks for having us! Xx

Dedicated Vegan menu - Edit
Came here for lunch as I'd seen they have quite a large vegan menu. I had a rather nice (bought in) pasty but unfortunately the advertised 'hand cut chips' turned out to be bog standard over-cooked frozen chips - very disappointing! My partner's chilli cheese jacket potato could have done with about 50% more filling as pretty sparse. Oat chocolate 'milk' shake was good - even had vegan squirty cream on it.

Stopped here after a walk around Cheddar Gorge and couldn’t believe how extensive the vegan menu was. I had the vegan cream tea and it was amazing.
