Vegan hot pot win (after a bit of work) - Edit
We saw that this new spot had opened by the Arno River but decided to order in instead of dining there. Just a heads up: If you're ordering through a delivery app, it doesn't allow you to build a fully vegan hot pot directly. You have to select some meat ingredients, and then leave a note saying you're vegan, asking them to remove the meat and replace it with other vegan ingredients. It's also a good idea to call the restaurant. Luckily the staff is extremely kind and knowledgeable about veganism, and very helpful. Thanks to that, we were able to customize two vegan hot pots. The tomato broth is clearly labeled as vegan, and there are plenty of plant based ingredients to choose from. A great comfort food option!
