Vegetarian and Vegan Hotel - Edit
This place breathes the christian motivation in many aspects. You will meet people on pilgrimage and other just here for the quiet in the nature around. The furniture serves the purpose.
The food is a simple, wholesome and tasty. Nothing fancy but quality in everything. The style is a buffet with enough options for vegan and vegetarian lifestyles and nothing for meat-eaters, which means to be fairly relaxed in this place. I live not too far away and return from time to time.
Don't just drop in. They normally cook for groups and for the hotel guests. Call beforehand to be sure to get a seat and food. It is mostly uncomplicated but advisable.
Pros: Casual athmosphere, Simple, homecook style food. , Very fairly priced

Wholeness from another era - Edit
The restaurant at the Lindenhof--part of the BnB there--takes you back to another point in time with the quality of the food. Every day is a different and interesting dish but always lots of fresh, in-season vegetables. The menu is a mix of vegan and vegetarian.
For coffee lovers the coffee is terrific. Perhaps not Italy but excellent for Germany.
And of course there is a selection of local beers and different wines.

Cons: Baked goods not always from on-site
