Homemade cakes and decent soy cappuccinos - Edit
There were about 2-3 vegan options for cakes, all homemade. We tried the pie and the chocolate cookie. Both good, not extraordinary. The soy cappuccinos are alright as well, but everything well worth the prices! All in all we paid only 6,30 euros!

great place for a coffee stop - Edit
this place has the typical italian bar style, the owner is super friendly and started chatting with us. they offer various, all homemade, vegan cookies and cakes (glass box in the end of the bar). prices are cheap and the food delicious. can recommend for a quick stop before/after visiting vatican city.

Homemade Vegan Goodies - Edit
While in the Vatican City area we went looking for some vegan goodies in hopes of finding a Croissant or two. While we didn’t find any Croissants, we did find some other delightful treats.
Read moreWhen you go in the Cafe go to the far end of the glass case to find the vegan selections. They are baked fresh daily and clearly labeled. Just be aware there was one item marked vegan that said “honey” in the description.
The Biscotti were only 1€ and very tasty, as well as some cake and tartlette slices (we didn’t try). They had several flavors when we went. The almond (mandorla) is super good! Most are meant to be eaten with coffee for dipping but are good on their own too. They have a soy cappuccino. Staff was friendly.
Pros: Friendly Staff, Clearly Marked Options, Affordable
