Es gibt eine zusätzliche, umfangreiche vegane Speisekarte mit leckeren Gerichten.

Die Bedienung war auch sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre gemütlich und eben typisch Italiener.

Neben der Standardkarte gibt es eine ausführliche vegane Karte. Die Auswahl ist umfangreich und ansprechend, das Endergebnis war leider ein wenig fade, zumal die Portionen recht klein ausfallen.

Amazing place to go to with non-vegans who aren’t as open to trying vegan restaurants. Everyone will be happy with the food as they have a „regular“ menu as well as an extensive vegan menu. They pizza is one of the best vegan pizzas in the area in my opinion. The baked gnocchi dish I tried was really amazing as well.

Huge vegan menu, you just have to ask for it. A lot of additional options, like black rice dough, if you have allergies. They do a lot of things in their own, like vegan cheese supplements.

Unglaubliche vegane Karte - Edit
Als Veganer ist man so viel Auswahl kaum gewohnt. Es gibt eine extra vegane Karte auf Nachfrage, viele der "klassischen" Gerichte sind dort veganisiert. Ich hatte die Spaghetti Carbonara. Diese haben unglaublich authentisch geschmeckt, nur der Räuchertofu darin hat mich nicht so überzeugt aber ansonsten wirklich 5 ⭐️

Nicht nur dass das Restaurant, eine eigene vegane Karte hat, auch dass Gerichte sich auf der Tageskarte veganisieren lassen ist einfach der Hammer. So viele Optionen ist man gar nicht gewöhnt in einem Omni Restaurant. Es ist schön auch andere Pasta und Pizza Gerichte angeboten zu bekommen, als Magherita, Vegetariana und Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce. Ich war einfach total positiv überrascht. Entschieden habe ich mich für die Pasta Carbonara mit Spargel und Tofu und es war ein Traum. Die Portionen sehen recht klein aus, aber da der Teller recht tief geht, stellte sich raus dass es ziemlich viel zu essen gab. Ich war total überladen danach. Die Carbonarasauce war so cremig, es war nur etwas ungewürzt, was aber kein Problem war, da Salz und Pfeffer bereitstehen.

Wir sind immer sehr gerne ins L‘Incontro gegangen und lange Zeit war dies unser Lieblingsitaliener in Karlsruhe. Aber bei den letzten Besuchen war das Essen so fad gewürzt, dass man rein gar nichts geschmeckt hat. Bei unserem letzten Besuch kam dann noch hinzu, dass der Pizzaboden sehr hart war und sich nur sehr großer Kraftanstrengung schneiden ließ. Als Entschädigung bekamen wir zwar eine Entschuldigung und ein Dessert aufs Haus, aber mittlerweile mögen wir dort einfach nicht mehr hingehen. Schade!

Leider gab es keine vegane Karte, wie im Internet versprochen. Es entstand der Eindruck, dass nicht klar zwischen vegan und vegetarisch unterschieden wird. Ich hatte ein falsches Hähnchen mit Reis. Die Qualität erinnerte mich an Mensaessen. Bei einem italienischen Restaurant hätte ich mir mehr mediterrane vegane Gerichte gewünscht. Schade.

They have a separate vegan menu which is basically has big as a the "normal" menu, so there's a huge variety of vegan options. The only exception is the desserts, where there was only one vegan option (a brownie, which was also delicious). Best vegan pizza I ever ate!
Read moreThe only reason I give 4 and not 5 stars is because the restaurant is not fully vegan. I can't in good conscious give 5 stars to a place that sells meat, but this can also be a plus if you're eating out with non-vegans who don't want to go to a vegan place.

Essen "wie normal". Einfach nach der veganen Karte fragen und schon fühlt es sich an wie früher. Man hat eine große Auswahl zu angemessenen Preisen und muss sich über keinerlei Zutaten Gedanken machen. Große Klasse!

We had gnocchi al forno (gnocchi with Bolognese styled sauce, baked in the oven with vegan cheese) and a pizza Bianca, with white base, smoked tofu, mushrooms, zucchini, v-Mozzarella.
Both very yummy, filling and very authentic.
I’d love to come here more often, since Italian is my favorite cuisine and you don’t often have more to chose from than Spaghetti Arrabiata, aglio e olio or a pizza (without cheese). Really appreciate the choices!
Staff was very friendly.
Pros: If you love italo-food - go!, many vegan choices, very welcoming staff

I came here on a Thursday and the place was empty. I looked at the menu online before I came, so I don’t know if the have an English one, but the service was friendly despite us not speaking each other’s language.I decided on the gnocchi with lentils - it came out fast and was delicious. It was hard not to try the pizza so I might have to come back.

I visited this restaurant with my non-vegan family members hoping for some vegan options. Turned out that they’ve got a whole vegan carte with a big variety of veganized meals from the “normal“ card to choose from. Their grilled veggies and other starters are really delicious, my salad was not only tasty but also a healthy portion and my main course didn’t disappoint as well. As you‘d expect from a real restaurant the staff was attentive - and also knowledgeable. Absolutely worth the price.
