My first visit to Limone, and I was delighted. The staff were lovely, the restaurant really clean and nicely decorated with some cute retro bathrooms my 6 year old particularly liked.
Read moreHoddesdon isn’t the greatest for vegan options. The Weatherspoons, till now, having the most vegan options! But I appreciated vegan cheese at an Italian restaurant, vegan aioli with my starter, more than lemon sorbet on the desert menu (I’ll be back to try the vegan Nutella calzone), and oat milk barista coffees.
They also adapted portions for my vegan 6 year old. (Smaller pizza, single scoop of ice cream).
Truly delighted and pleased to share a pic of the menu as it isn’t on their website!
Pros: Variety of options, Great staff

We have been here 3 times now. Amazing restaurant with cute decor and the best thing is they have a whole vegan menu which is very rare in this area.
Read moreI’ve had a different pizza each time and loved it every time- the dough and vegan cheese is really good! I have had the pizza tartufo, the vegan picante pizza and the margarita pizza with my own choice of toppings (mushrooms, olives and rocket).
It has tasted great every time and the service has been excellent every visit too. I have no complaints and will be visiting again!
Pros: Excellent food, Many vegan options (dedicated separate vegan menu), Friendly staff with nice vibe
Cons: Nothing

I was so happy to discover that a new family-run italian restaurant that opened in my little town had an entire vegan menu and that most of it could be made gluten free! Eating out with a Gluten allergy is literally impossible in Hoddesdon!
Read moreI booked a table for 7.30pm for my birthday . I was so excited. We ordered our starters which took ages, then waited ages for our mains. At 9pm they started to bring the mains out and I was told mine would be a couple more minutes because the Gluten free pasta was not cooked yet. I was fine with this, gluten free pasta does take ages to cook! At 9.15, my dish was brought out to me, with an apology and I was told it was on the house. I was just happy to eat, I'd not eaten all day except for my starter which had just made me hungrier. The pasta was so raw it was inedible, the rest of the table had almost finished eating and so I had no choice but to send the dish back and leave hungry. Such a shame because the flavour was amazing.
Meanwhile my dad was eating his rigatoni and spat a stone out that had been in his food! I've no idea how the stone got in there but the waiter took it and said she would pass it on to the manager and no one came over with any apology or explanation. The two dishes were removed from the bill but the fact that the issue wasn't even acknowledged is very disappointing and sadly, what would have been our new favourite local restaurant, is one that we will probably never return to...
This was by far one of my worst dining experiences ever, for a stone to make it's way into a dish and staff to not even address it is beyond disgusting.
Pros: Nice flavours
Cons: Stone in food, Undercooked food, Slow service
