It's a community bistro, where people with less access to work get training. Lovely people! They have a bunch of vegan options, but make sure to very clearly ask for it, since the trainees might have trouble understanding and you might end up with an egg on your plate. I'm vegetarian so no worries for me, but wouldn't want this to happen to a vegan!

Small, attractively decorated café. Various vegan options, including vegan sweet and savoury waffles. I had the vegan all day breakfast, which was really nice. Great range of vegan cakes – I had lime and coconut. Other possibilities included chocolate brownies, chocolate fudge cake and lavender and lemon cake. A social enterprise which supports employment for people with disabilities, mental health problems, etc and runs an initiative to help feed homeless people. Well worth visiting.

We both had the vegan fish finger sandwich (on homemade focaccia bread!) which was delicious! Staff were friendly, the bistro itself was really cute, and they had a pay it forward scheme for rough sleepers which is such a great idea! Would definitely recommend.

Great range - Edit
Lily's has a great range of vegan, vegetarian and meat dishes and does lovely vegan cakes! The staff are all lovely and the portions are generous! I would definitely recommend the vegan breakfast and lunch mezze board.
