Good Thai in a beach town - Edit
Pleasant restaurant located in the center of RB. Good vegan options. The waitress instantly understood the vegan questions and made sure that there was no fish sauce in the dishes. The food was very good, nicely-seasoned and fresh. The mango and sticky rice was quite good. There is a lunch special menu. While the menu does specify
Read more"no substitutions" for the lunch specials, our requests for what seemed to be very simple substitutions were denied. Seemed to be applying the no substitutions rule too strictly. But, still...good, but not outstanding, food.

Great food, lovely for sit down dinner but not fancy - Edit
This was a terrific find --thanks to Happy Cow, to be precise :-) Great for a family dinner! We went with a pretty big group of varied ages, and everyone was pleased. There were tons of vegan food options. There is a vegetable section on the menu, although the vegan options are not very clearly labeled. However, The waitress was extremely responsive and informed about which items had fish sauce, and when she didn't know she happily went back-and-forth to the kitchen several times to make sure the items we ordered were vegan. Everything was great, not too oily/greasy (somethings were more than others). My favorites were: the vegan coconut soup, the mango/cashews/cucumber salad, tofu eggplant. The pad Thai was great too of course! We would definitely go back. Even though Rehobeth Beach has an annual veg Fest, and several juice shops, and yoga, etc. the vegan dining options around this region are still pretty sparse. Lots of more traditional American meat and dairy and fish heavy Beach food in this area. So it was really a treat to find Lily Thai.

Found Lily Thai during our visit to Rehoboth Beach! So incredibly thankful to have found a vegan option in a whirlwind of pizza and fries!
Read moreThe servers were very friendly and the restaurant was not at all crowded. I was a bit skeptical so I asked our waiter if the veg food contained fish sauce or oyster sauce; to my delight the answer was no. I ordered the yellow vegetable curry, which comes with rice, as an entree and the mango sticky rice for dessert. Our orders came very quickly. Best Thai food I've ever had! Seriously delicious! :)
Pros: incredibly delicious food, fast and friendly staff, not overly crowded
Cons: tad expensive, portions could be larger, no brown rice option

Great food, great location, great veg option! - Edit
Thank goodness for a Thai option in a sea of seafood & pizza! Tofu appetizer & tofu options in most dishes. My husband & I always get the yellow curry & spring rolls. Service is friendly, it's open year round. I've never had a wait & usually get a table by the window to watch the foot traffic.
