Generic curry at stupid prices - Edit
Having been refused the vegetarian thali but with no explanation, just "no", we ordered 4 different currys. All currys came out with exactly the same sauce, various vegetables and meats swimming in greasy, harsh chilli powdered red liquid. Now we understood why we couldn't have the thali! The rice was nice. The water cost £6 a bottle. Norway is very expensive but this was ridiculous. We kept the receipt to have a laugh once the disbelief and red gunk has passed.

Like Walking Into A Different City - Edit
This restaurant was like walking into a different city. Such a curious and fairy tale-like little village! It was very cold and I ventured out alone on a small trek and discovered I was near this place. Decided to go in and check it out. The vibe..the ambience..so different than what I'd been experiencing during my Norwegian travels up to that point. It was romantically lit..with string lights and dark colors everywhere. Truly nice scene to walk into. The tea was a warming reprieve from the chilly night, They do have many vegan friendly food items on their menu. I ate enough for two people. I had a potato dish which was served in a small metal terrine. I think I amazed the waiter with my ability to order and eat so muuuuch food. I was the only person eating alone and I suppose that's weird in Norway..because i did get a few pity looks, but I was too busy enjoying the gnosh to be bothered. Worth a visit as there are not many places to visit food-wise here.
Pros: Decor/Vibe/Ambience Cool, Many Vegan Items
Cons: Needed a Credit Card Pin/Code Number

Recommended for vegetarians - Edit
One of the sparse vegetarian options in Bergen. Starters, more than one page dedicated to veggie dishes, and some warm Tea for the cold weather.
Reasonable pricing for Norway. Lunch menu including vegetarian food available.
Not sure if it's suitable for vegans.
Pros: Many options, Reasonable pricing

Delicious Indian food in Norway - Edit
Went here on our first night in Bergen. The options in Norway are limited, so Indian seemed like a safe bet.
The food was really very good, especially the chana masala with spinach. The portion sizes weren't huge, especially the appetizers, but that's really my only criticism. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant is on a cute little street away from the hubbub.
Pros: Excellent food
Cons: Small portions

Definitely worth a visit - Edit
We came to Bergen to celebrate our anniversary, and really glad we picked Little Taste of India for our evening meal. The staff were lovely, the restaurant is very nice and the food was fantastic. You can pick the level of heat to suit you, on a scale of 1-6 - but watch out for the green chilli chutney served with poppadoms to begin. VERY hot!! Main meals come with rice as standard, and the house wine is pretty good. Definitely worth a visit for authentic, delicious Indian food.
Pros: Great food, Friendly staff, Warm restaurant

Good food and nice seating - Edit
The outdoor seating in a little, quiet street is appealing. Our waiter was, however, unfamiliar with the concept of 'vegan' and also somewhat unsure about the ingredients of the dishes. The helping of the starter was somewhat small (when you order samosas, generally they come in pairs but one small, single samosa for 59NK was disappointing), the size of the main dish, however, was okay. In terms of taste, the food was quite good and tasted more "Indian" than in most central European places.
Pros: outdoor seating, food tastes (almost) Indian
Cons: expensive, small starter servings, limited vegan options

As good as it gets in Bergen - Edit
Lille taste of Indian is one of few restaurants in Bergen with an extended vegan/vegetarian menu.
Very good and personal service.
It's located in one of the streets with no cars allowed, so you can enjoy your meal outside without too much noise.
Pros: Good food, Good service, Generous portions
Cons: They serve meat, Bit cramped
