they were out of the soy chicken and soy beef empanadas both days i checked, but what i did get was good!! staff is knowledgeable about vegan options.

Sadly a bad experience - Edit
I was excited to try this place since it is so conveniently located to the beach and had several clearly labeled vegan options. I tried to order the vegan empanadas but the staff told me they were out of all the vegan empanada options. The menu said they had non-dairy arepas, but when I asked they told me they didn’t. I ended up ordering a veggie sandwich and I double checked to make sure it would be vegan. After at least 15 minutes of waiting, the sandwich they gave me had dairy cheese and mayonnaise so I requested a new one. The sandwich I ended up with was only lettuce and tomato on bread (it was supposed to have avocado as per the menu and when I checked with the staff, but there was none). My vegetarian friend’s sandwich also was missing avocado. The sandwich was expensive at $16 and was the least filling and most inexpensive thing to make. I regretted not going elsewhere. My advice is to be wary and go elsewhere if they are out of vegan options— staff was not knowledgable and the substitutions not worth the price.

Only vegan food in Bethany!! - Edit
Options include vegan pizza (with vegan cheese if you pay a $5 ADDITIONAL CHARGE), 3 types of empanada (soyrizo, v chicken, v beef), and an arepa with black beans and soyrizo. Pretty heavy w no veggies but it was all delicious! They also have vegan creamer in their fridge for coffee which was amazing. Caution though, the guava empanada is NOT VEGAN. I was interested in it after reading the other reviews but the owner told me it wasn't.

Cute little spot with amazing vegan food! They have vegan options for pizza, arepas, and 3 types of vegan empanadas. One of the best vegan pizzas I’ve ever had, and the empanadas were great too. Definitely my new favorite spot for takeout in bethany.

Guava Empanada is Delicioso - Edit
Nice selection of vegan options and friendly staff at this cute boardwalk eatery. Three types of vegan meat empanadas. I had the guava empanada and it was sooo good. They can also make some of the arepas vegan upon request using vegan cheese. Colombian hot chocolate can be made with almond milk.

This place just recently started serving vegan cheese, and we got their vegan chicken and beef empanadas, which had great flavor! Would definitely go back!
