Cute little restaurant, vegan food could be better

LILA recently opened their doors and before going I called the restaurant to see if they could do anything vegan and thankfully they could. The restaurant is really cute and very cozy.

I had the chips and house made salsas with guacamole and the sweet potato tostadas which they made vegan. The sweet potato tostadas came in 2 pieces and were loaded with sweet potatoes. The lime yoghurt was left out and replaced with guacamole.
The other vegan options on the menu are the smoky cabbage tacos and the lila grain bowl.

I found the food a bit overpriced for what it was. The sweet potato tostadas were good, I liked the salsa negra on top but overall nothing special. There was so much sweet potato on them and hardly any other ingredients so these could definitely be improved as you pay 50aed for these 2 tostadas. Even the other dishes are more expensive than what you would expect to pay for what it is you're getting.

Hopefully they will improve their vegan options and have some more menu items in the future!

Pros: Some of the sauces are very good, Very cute vibey restaurant , Jarittos ✨

Cons: No vegan desserts , Vegan options aren't very special, Overpriced
