A lovely, very dog friendly pub with multiple vegan options from chickpea sandwiches and onion rings to banana blossom “fish” and chips with vegan tartar sauce.

Sunday Roast - Edit
Food was excellent - one vegan sports option but that’s to be expected. Moroccan style sweet potato and chickpea cottage pie (it’s called roast on the menu). Delicious. However, I questioned the price. £1.50 cheaper than the meat option but you don’t get the cauliflower cheese or Yorkshire pudding which as sides cost £4.75 so the meal should be that much cheaper. The lovely barman agreed and said he’d tell the boss. Do question this if the price hasn’t change. Great pub overlooking the water.

The vegan banana blossom fish and chips are to die for—the best I’ve ever had. Prices are fair, and they have great St Austell beers.
Read moreBecause it isn’t a fully vegan restaurant, the app doesn’t allow a five-star rating, however, the meal surely deserves one. Staff is super friendly. Nice view of St Ives harbour, too.

OK options in a great location. Had vegan fish & chips which was banana blossom. The batter was delicious. Chips & mushy peas OK but could be better. Staff friendly and wines are marked vegan on the menu. Also dog friendly! Vegan burger was average.
