They have a whole page with vegetarian option. The link for the menue is here https://togo.dylish.com/restaurant/life-thai-fusion/home.
I had a red curry which was very tasty and the vegetables were just cook perfect. You can add soy chicken, duck and fish. I added the duck and I had to ask again if it was soy because it looked super real but when I tasted it you could tell that it was soy.
The service was friendly and fast and I wish with so many vegetarian options I could give 5 stars. The portion sizes are quite big as well.
Sadly, I was too hungry to take a picture before eating so I can't share the food 🙈
I ordered pad see ew with soy duck. I was happy with my food. Concerning they asked if I wanted egg after I asked for it vegan. It didn’t taste fishy or meaty and the duck was fine. I’m on a hope and prayer they actually made it vegan but if you’re okay with uncertainty this is the place for you. I ate it because it was pricey and I had no other option at work. I enjoyed it and I hope it was vegan.
We ordered the eggplant with soft tofu and it was fabulous. And we ordered the bok choy with soy chicken—it is also so delicious. The tofu has to be soft because they normally deep fry it in the same fryer as meat. But the soft tofu is fine and it did not taste like meat like sometimes it does at other restaurants when they use the same pan and it tastes like meat, but I did not detect any meat flavor at all here. This place is good—we’re coming back again soon!
Really excited to find this restaurant! The eggplant kra-pow is delicious! I also got a Thai tea with coconut milk! So tasty and refreshing! Will go back for sure! Service was super fast but I know that can change depending on the time you go. The waitress was really friendly and sweet and made sure I was happy!
We came as soon as they opened and they were very welcoming. We had the spicy fried rice with soy chicken, and pineapple red curry with soy chicken. Both were excellent! We definitely recommend this place and will be back soon!
Update: the fried rice wasn’t as good as before when I came back for lunch recently, I let the owner know and she was very receptive to the feedback. But I will say that the soy orange chicken was out of this world!
Would give this restaurant 5 stars, but I cannot because it is not fully vegan or vegetarian. However it is very vegan friendly, and both times I went they understood very well how to accommodate vegans. I recommend either the pad Thai or pad see ew with the soy duck, both were phenomenal.
There is now an entire veg page in the menu. Ask for no fish sauce to make vegan. The cooks are now trained to accommodate vegan customers. The owner Annie told me that a large percentage of their new customers are vegan, so they've been adding vegan items to the menu. Best dishes: 1. Tofu larb 2. Vegetarian Yellow curry (it's vegan though) 3. Vegetarian Satay Combo 4. Tom kha tofu and mushroom soup!
Life Thai is located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The interior is colorful and has a few shelves of kids' things so I imagine it's popular for families.
There was only one waitress handling things when we went and her English wasn't super clear, I suspect other reviewers who were told there weren't vegan options might have been a communication issue. It looked like both to-go and dine in were popular here.
The food we got was vegan, but tended to use a lot of frying, sugar, salt and light on vegetables. Pad thai, for instance, was almost all noodles. Perhaps other dishes were different but it didn't give me the impression of being very healthy.
With so many wonderful Thai restaurants out there, I would return here only if I needed to be in this area again.
When I came here the waitress told me they had no vegan options, she did not even seem to comprehend what a vegan was. She just kept telling me they had vegetarian options. Needless to say I will not be returning. I ended up having steamed vegetables and brown rice because it was late and I drove quite a bit just to get there. The vegetables were also quite expensive for a small portion.
They have a whole vegan menu now, and most other dishes can be made vegan. Also, in other countries, vegetarian can also mean vegan. Mainly, the UK and the US use the term vegan.
This place is a nicely decorated laid back place to get some really yummy food served up by the friendliest wait staff ever. On a recent trip we learned that they are now offering soy chicken, soy shrimp, or soy fish to add to any of their dishes. They have this puffy fried tofu appetizer that is do die for! This place is also super kid friendly. The owner Annie is so nice that my 6 year old requests this restaurant so that he can go see 'the nice lady.' They have a wall in the hallway at the back of the restaurant that as a couple of shelves full of toys for kids to play with. This place is the best!
