Great coffee, but the vegan options used to be better

My impression in 2019 was: Lovely sourdough bread, nice vegan sandwiches with interesting ingredients, brilliant avocado toastie.
Most options are vegan or vegetarian and possible to veganise (when I went there was only one non-vegetarian dish with fish on the menu).
Very good raw cakes and good coffee (oat milk available).
Downside is poor gluten free options, salads are small and not very filling, I would definitely choose something with bread (if you can eat it); especially since it's a very tasty bread that they bake themselves

Update 2023 the cafe is much worse now, poorer choice and vegan food is less tasty, most vegan cakes are gone now, and the few they have are just ok, clearly a different baker. The commitment to promote plant based food that is mentioned in the menu is not really visible in the dining options, they in reality don't do anything to promote vegan food (just look at wagamama that always has vegan specials), very disappointing. But still great coffee, pretty much the only reason left to go here.

Small menu but lovely food

I had a great tasting burger with loads on interesting fillings. The menu says the focus is on plant based food it's just a shame that the restaurant isn't fully vegan. With so much competition in Sevenoaks I would think being fully plant would give this place the edge?

Loved this place

I would give this a 5* review if possible (can't as it's not fully vegan). The menu is written on a large blackboard on the wall and I guess changes frequently, but when I went quite a few of the options appeared to be fully vegan anyway. The smashed avo on sourdough with sweet potato chips was absolutely delicious - by far the best I've had. There were vegan pancakes with berries which also looked great. They had a couple of vegan cakes at the counter, I tried a chocolate and cherry cake which was also lovely.

Their website describes it as a 'pro-plant cafe with sustainable menu'. They are environmentally conscious, use renewable electricity, recycle packaging, and compost waste. I really liked this place and would definitely go back if I'm in the area again.

Pros: Absolutely delicious Smashed Avocado, Environmentally conscious, Vegan cakes!

Cons: Busy so a bit slow, but not a major issue
