One of the best vegan spots in Tulum. Super cute and cozy VW Kombi converted to a kitchen/bar, nestled under so much greenery - palm trees and vines strung with Edison lights, plenty of seating on the path leading to the beach. Delicious vegan food. The BBQ style 'pulled pork' burger with activated charcoal bun is our favorite. Great portions. Lovely drinks and ambiance! Beautiful owners, a lovely and very genuine, accommodating couple. I am told they grow most of their own produce locally on their farm. It's clear their intentions are pure - to spread love & good health in Tulum with the thoughtfully prepared food at Liefs being their vehicle to do so. It is appreciated. Awesome desserts (banana bread is bomb!) We love the tables under the giant palm trees. Super cute date spot or simply a bite before/after the beach. I return again and again. See you soon Liefs!

Cutest and Best Vegan Food Truck - Edit
We went to tulum and one of our first stops was this cute little food truck to grab a coffee! It was heaven (one of the best and creamiest coffees i’ve had so far). After our beach day we had to come back to get some dinner there as well hahah. We had some really good Rice/Lentils Bowls and a sandwich. Cheers to the Staff you made our Dinner way more fun. It was good to meet you! To all vegans and all other peps here in tulum try Liefs out - you’ll not be disappointed!!!!! xx

We stopped in here for a snack - we shared the “pulled perk” hamburger - and I immediately wanted another!! It’s a BBQ jackfruit burger - and was soooo delicious. I’ve had a lot of average jackfruit dishes before but this was by far the best I’ve ever had. The burger buns are freshly made and light, and the burger is generously served with fresh salad as well as the BBQ jackfruit. The banana bread is also really good. We’ve already been back for our second hamburger in the space of one day! It’s a food truck but the are tables and chairs in the shade to sit comfortably. The whole menu is vegan and very reasonably priced for Tulum standards

Read moreI travel to Tulum a couple of times a year since I'm just a 2 hour flight away. I've tried almost every restaurant in this town and in the hotel zone and this is definitely on the top of my list!
I want to start off with their burger, it's phenomenal! I'm from Texas therefore BBQ is our 'thang' and let me tell you!!!! This burger is comparable to a brisket sandwich except it's BETTER! Their banana bread is so moist, better than any banana bread I've ever tried. The mushroom is also fantastic and their array of amazing drinks/juices on the menu is great as well. It says something when you're on vacation and you keep going back to the same spot and you look around and see the same customers over and over again. The location is adorable and so so so sweet! Fem & Thomas (the owners) are the sweetest people ever and you can just see how much love they have put into every single detail in Liefs.

BEST VEGAN PLACE IN TULUM! - Edit
This place is amazing! The owners and staff are super friendly, the location was cozy and the whole menu is delicious (we tried most of the menu and I recommend the jackfruit burger!!). There was a little campfire in the middle of the venue while you had some smooth music on the background. This all made us stay for four hours and we are not afraid to say that it was our best restaurant experience in Tulum!

This truck went live a couple of days ago. So happy that there is an option as we were leaving the beach for our hotel. Very friendly owner who gave up corporate jobs to slow down a bit. We loved the jack fruit tacos.
