Wonderful choices

I love this place both here and at the farmers market. The salad choices are delicious with and without the falafel. Wish I could get this more often.

Pros: Great choice of salads , Plenty of vegan options, Delicious combos

Cons: Restaurant can be hard to park near

On its own level!

Liba blows all other falafel joints outta the water. There’s a huge topping bar to create your own salad/pocket. Almost everything is vegan. It’s delicious and crave-able. Honestly it’s difficult for me to get falafel anywhere else after having Liba cuz it just doesn’t compare.

Pros: Almost everything is vegan!, Delicious , Tons of toppings

Cons: Small space

Great, but expensive

Having lived in D.C, I was thrilled to find a restaurant that offers a similar experience to Amsterdam Falafel. The toppings bar was excellent and the falafel themselves tasty as well. The downside is the cost - $10 for a falafel is extremely expensive. Amsterdam Falafel’s were $6 and had an even bigger toppings bar. I know Bay Area pricing yada yada, but that’s the reason for deducting 1 Star.

Pros: Tasty and large, Great toppings

Cons: Expensive

Best Falafel (ever?)

What a grace it was to see Liba Falafel convert into a restaurant space in Oakland. Not only is the falafel crunchy and delicious, but you can load-up your dish with huge variety of fixings. The combination of Liba's simplicity and fine flavors for the right price make this one of my favorite places in the Bay Area.

Pros: Best falafel ever, Huge "salad bar" to affix your falafel with flavor, Quaint space in Oakland

Cons: Destination location, for some.
