Superb! A real gem. - Edit

If I lived in Dunedin, I would eat here every day this small cafe is open. I ate a baguette with vegan turkey and Havarti cheese (and greens) and it was simply to die for. They sell the ‘v’ meats and cheeses onsite as well as ‘v’ mayonnaise. The staff are really friendly and recommended some easy vegan recipes to me, as I’m relatively new at eating vegan. This place made me glad to be vegan.

Pros: Great food, service and price.

Cons: I don’t live in Dunedin so I can’t come more often

Perfect! loved it! - Edit

A very small, cute deli, with a few chairs and tables if you wanna eat there. We got there right before the close for their Christmas holiday so most of the stuff was out, but we got the Italian sausage sub and loads of stuff for the fridge (mozzarella stuffed chicken, sausages, cheeses...). The owner was SUPER nice, the food was delicious. Wished we could come back!

Simple homemade goodies - Edit

A cute counter shop serving lunch bits and homemade mock meats and cheeses to take away. We had a baguette, a pie, a cookie and a brownie - all super tasty. We took away 'turkey' slices and pepperjack 'cheese' - also very good. Price appropriate for artisan goods: packaged meat was 8 bucks but deceptively large, cheese was 6 bucks for a small packet. It's all vegan :)

Drinks also available in the chiller, filter coffee to drink on site or byo cup. No takeaway cups, which we support, although the amount of packaging on the take home goods was quite hefty, I thought.

It was sunny the day we ate so we were able to sit outside but the site is very small and I didn't see room for a table indoors.

Pros: All vegan, homemade stuff , No takeout cups, Friendly, nice atmosphere

Cons: No indoor seating , Heavy packaging , Not open every day... not a con so much, its a sma

Wow. Must visit - Edit

We were In Dunedin for only one day, but found this amazing place. Vegan things I had never had before like hot spicy salami sub, cold tofu subs to name a few. Also had the chicken and cheese pies. All were amazing. Not rubbishy junky fake meat/sausage, but instead all made on premises. Must try the pie ... Best l have ever had. Also have sausages and cheese etc to take home and cook. Great prices too. You won't be disappointed.

great food and entirely vegan - Edit

Sandwiches, pies and something else available every day. Home made meats, cheeses, mayo and more at prices that are better than the supermarkets.
Constant innovation means you are unlikely to get bored.
There are sweet treats too but most are too sugary for me.

Pros: vegan

Cons: limited sweet stuff and what there is is very suga
