Read moreI took the dish of the day (roasted seitan & potatoes), it was delicious although I would have loved more sauce and bigger quantity overall. I would suggest adding sides on the menu (like nuggets / skewers etc which are already on the menu in main dishes)!
The dessert, homemade fudgy brownie and ice cream, was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend !

This place is amazing! So friendly staff and delicious food. I had the "chicken" burger and a waffle for dessert, both were truly great. A place not to be missed when in Bordeaux!

I took the Chicken Free Burger with fries. Additionally you get a salad, a bottle of water for free and I ordered an alternative Cola ("Breizh Cola"). The burger was very tasty but - believe me! - the fries were spectacular! Price is ok, about 20€ in total.

Read moreIf you don’t know the city, this area doesn’t seem as nice as the more northern parts of the city. From a tourist perspective, so I wouldn’t bother making the journey down. It’s probably not worth it.

Read moreJ'y étais déjà allée quelques fois pour boire un verre et partager une assiette de tapas avec des amies et je m'étais régalée avec un croque, un wrap ou encore un burger. Cette fois, j'ai pu découvrir le brunch du dimanche !
Au menu, une boisson chaude (café ou thé), une boisson froide (jus de fruits), une assiette salée (un duo de toast avec bacon et fromage végétal ainsi que légumes de saison), une assiette sucrée (rose des sables et gaufre) et un pudding de chia avec des fruits frais
L'ambiance est toujours vivante et bienveillante, l'endroit est toujours en activité (exposition, tournoi de mario kart, karaoké) et la nourriture est simple et délicieuse, si vous avez envie de passer un bon moment, je vous recommande fortement l'endroit !

I chose to try the brunch, consisting of :
- coffee or tea, fruit juice, a sweet and savory plate
Sweet plate:
A chocolate rose des sables, a granola dessert with strawberries and raspberries
A homemade sugar waffle
Savory plate:
Potato rosties, runny cheese, lard de la vie
Generous slices of bread with pinched seasonal vegetables
Hot or cold comfort food according to the chef's whim
And I added the big vegan burger to fill the brunch, with a reworked addict steak, vegan cheddar and served with home fries.
I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I had the opportunity to chat at length with the manager and chef, and they proudly displayed the happycow sticker on the front of the restaurant, just like the other restaurants I visited in Bordeaux.
The decoration is very inclusive and shows a very festive place and a place of meeting and sharing not to be missed in Bordeaux!
In short, a must-visit inclusive vegan street food spot in Bordeaux.

Les preuves du contraire est un super bar entre le marché des Capucins et Saint-Michel. Il est accueillant et on s'y sent immédiatement bien, car l'équipe est très sympa. Le cadre est très sympa, souvent agrémenté d'exposition engagée.

In a city with five amazing vegan restaurants I was spoiled for choice. But in Les Preuves Du Contraire my taste buds came alive with their amazing house vegan burger. What made it stand out was the delightful tang of their cornichons sauce together with the salty goodness of their tasty vegan cheese. Really good. A must when visiting Bordeaux.

The atmorsphere is very welcoming and pleasent. I had a vegan Croque Monsieur. I am always curious to eat veganized typical local food - so it made me happy:) If you like vegan cheese you should definitly try it. The fries are homemade and crunchy.
