We waited half an hour before anyone would take our order. Then we waited a further 45 minutes for the meal to arrive. Just burgers and fries. Not haute cuisine. When the food came, there were no burgers in the buns. Just the bread buns themselves and accompaniments listed on the menu. But not the soya patties. The fries were undercooked and somehow actually grey. We’re not wildly fussy eaters, and I hate to complain or make a fuss, but the whole thing was inedible. The waitress could see we were not chuffed - because our plates were still full when she came to clear them - and told us to speak to the owner (who is also the cook). We did. He brushed it off rudely, and said ‘I make it like that.’ 🙄

Seems clear he had run out of patties and decided to wing it. Honesty would have been preferable. And it still doesn’t explain the grey, undercooked fries.

Just to add we did this throughout politely and in French, so it’s not just us braying in English and pissing off the staff.

He did knock the price of two burgers off the bill, but it still cost us €80+ for four drinks and a pile of uneaten slop. Shambolic.

Pros: good draught beers

Cons: service, food , attitude

Fantastisch lecker!

Es gibt (zumindest soweit ich die französische Karte verstanden habe) nur eine vegane Option - einen veganen Burger. Der hat es aber in sich! Erst mal ist er riesig und dann auch noch ultra lecker. Definitiv kein trauriger Abklatsch eines Burgers mit Fleisch.

Pros: Les Docks ist ein Ein-Mann-Betrieb, Der Inhaber ist sehr freundlich & offen, Der Eistee ist der Wahnsinn!
