The Delights of Nature was established May 2019. Small vegetarian restaurant offers a lunch menu, burgers, sandwiches, appetizers, pizza, sweets and more. Mostly vegan, except you can ask for dairy cheese on pizza; however, it comes with made-in-house cashew cheese by default. Everything, including bread, is prepared by the owner who will answer all your questions about the food she serves. Please note they accept a variety of payment options. Relocated from 8 Rue Pied de Ville. Open Mon-Fri 11:00-15:00, Mon-Tue 18:00-21:00, Thu 18:00-21:00, Sun 11:00-15:00. Closed Sat.

Almost entirely vegan! - Edit
Eating out as a vegan in Digne-les-Bains was pretty hard before Les Délices de la nature opened. There are only one table inside the restaurant and few ones outside but all menu items are available to take out.
Read moreFood is fresh, the owner knows the products she uses and will be pleased to explain you how everything is made. First time I ate here she just came back from Paris and had only sandwiches to offer. This day we could choose either vegan chicken made out of textured vegetable proteins or housemade steak. I was with my boyfriend and we would like to try both of them but asked for two chicken ones because it seems easier as the owner reheats the filling on a stove. The sandwich is served in a half-baguette with lettuce, tomatoes, the vegan meat which cooked in a sauce with veggies, and an optional olive-oil-based sunflower seed dressing.
Second time we came, there was another option for sandwiches, tofu balls, but we didn’t try it. My boyfriend had the veggie burger he wanted like to try the first time we came. The patty made out of textured vegetable proteins, lettuce, fresh tomatoes, soy sprouts and a creamy sauce which seems to include tomato paste come in a grain bun. I ordered the samosas which are filled with carrots, onion and textured vegetable protein ground.
Everything we tried tasted good to us, the owner is very nice and food is inexpensive. The burger was 5€ and it comes with a complimentary fresh smoothie. Flavor may probably change depending of which fruit are seasonal but in that late-August day it was a apricot-orange beverage.
As a vegan, I would prefer that she uses an industrial vegan cheese rather the dairy one for people who don't like cashew cheese, which I would admit, isn't really close to what you put on a traditional pizza. However, would definitely go back again, to try this pizza and desserts especially!
